In all seriousness Miles, I talk almost exactly like Haye, yet I'd consider myself to be at least your equal with regard to intelligence & knowledge. 1st off I'm supporting Haye in this fight BUT if wlad wins by a shut out I wouldn't be surprised because going on past fights a wlad shut out would be the most sensible place to put your money.
Hatton vs Mayweather I think was actually closer than most give credit for. Ok after round 6 Floyd took over easily, but the refereeing was awful in that fight and biased.
Hatton vs Pacquiao I didn't know Hatton was going to have the worst training camp of his career not to mention all the shananigans going on inside his camp, plus hatton got beat by a fighter thant will do anything to avoid a steroid test now....
Lewis Rahman 1? Now that is an interesting one.... Lewis had to be the favourite going into that just like wlad is the favourite going into this. Lewis underestimated Rahman and got Koed. Will wlad make the same mistake? I doubt it but that fight doesn't serve the purpose you want it to serve in this discussion...... especially when you look at the rematch too.

Haye spoke some English poorly, but it seems that because a vocal minority of posters on here do the same, they want to turn it into a big deal. Haye made a mistake, I forgive him. But I don't forgive language skanks like Piye for calling me names. If I can be called names then quite clearly Haye can be called inbred or a jumped up chav.
I was born somewhat poor too, but if I managed to differentiate the usages of different grammatical functions then other poor people people should too. It is almost like language inefficiency is worn like a badge of honour. No, we shouldn't aspire to talk like Jordan, we should indeed aspire to talk like Steven Fry etc. People who use language in creative and beautiful ways. Somehow, this thread has gotten even worse from when I, quite rightly, said it was literally the worst thing I had ever read on here. Bravo gents, bravo.
Haha, yes, it has become quite awful. Clearly my tongue has been a bit in cheek and I am now too lazy to keep it going anymore. It's hard work keeping this going page after page. As I said earlier I quite like David Haye, but he does look like a hyena and doesn't speak English as well as the Queen (who I actually despise). Pretty good CW though, but a bit of a pretender at HW.
I am not particularly 'down' with the weird language forms, but if we all spoke the same the world would be quite boring. Haye has his own niche with the 'shook' thing and I think it only appropriate to come into the ring wearing baggy clothes rapping a ditty about 'shooking the world' and 'shooking the klits' and all the other naughty language we get in contemporary rap.
Anyway, I am done with this thread. Time for pastures new and other language forms to get upset about.

Though defensive about language, I did cross the line in calling Haye inbred. I have a habit of calling English people that and it isn't really fair. That label belongs to the royal family and them alone. So I take that back and won't say it again.

I love the way the English speak their language, it must be a source of amusement across the pond, to hear how some of us 'mericans butcher it.
As for me, I believe I do a better job than most Americans of "articulating", and/or making myself understood, but let's just say I didn't pay close enough attention in English/Grammar classes when I was growing up. Plus, i've spent most of my adult life in the Southern U.S., primarily in Texas and the 'hick' lingo the locals use use tends to rub off on you.
Anyway, i'm fixin' to put my shotgun in mah pickup, get some mutha fukin' beer, and see if I can find some road kill for lunch. :dunce:
