Re: juan Diaz v Ricky Hatton
Hatton Diaz would be a great fght, would love to see that.
I'm not sure Diaz could hurt Hatton, certainly not early but he could make it rough for him late on in the fight.
I'd go with Hatton if he has anything left in the tank, Juan looks fat as fuck at lightweight and really should be getting himself in shape and moving down if anything.
At 140 he'll look like Gavin Rees.

Obviously there is the winner of the Pacman v ODH fight, but i have a feeling Mayweather will fight the victor in that one.
So Hattons options winner of Pacman/ODH (possibly)
Or??
I say Diaz Hatton would be a great fight and at this stage if Diaz is strong at 140 to be to much for Hatton at this stage, i feel Hatton will struggle to go 12 strong with a a fighter like Diaz who has imput and goes 12 rounds all day long. Id lean towards a close decision for Diaz. I would defintly love to see this fight.
I would like to see Hatton/Judah, all but one of Judah's losses were are 147. I think style wise it would make for a very entertaining fight and one that is winnable by both parties.
As a back up to that I would like to see Hatton/PAC there is enough
money there and it doesn't matter if PAC wins or loses against ODLH
the fight will still have legitimacy.
As a third option I would slide Diaz into the mix, if Hatton has slid skill wise at all from his last fight I would pick Diaz to actually outhustle Hatton.
Behind that Witter or Bradley, cause why not?
I think Judah would stop Hatton within 6 rounds.
As for the Diaz fight, Campbell hurt him to the body more than once, Katsidis managed to slow Diaz down a bit (albiet while taking a beating in the process) once he applied a dedicated body attack. Hatton is/was a murderous body puncher. Based on that alone I would lean towards Hatton.

That's the rub though if Judah doesn't finish Hatton in 6 all of a sudden it's competitive.

Yeah. I do think that Judah would finish him quickly though. Hatton's defense is very leaking, and all his leaping and rushing in without jabbing would lead to him getting nailed by one of Judah's uppercuts or straight lefts, and I don't think Hatton would take them well.

And lets not forget Ricky Hatton's trouble with Southpaw's ever since he was an Amateur.
Re: juan Diaz v Ricky Hatton
Now that I think about it, Diaz - Judah would be a compelling match up...
Re: juan Diaz v Ricky Hatton
For the longest time I said Hatton would beat Judah the way almost everybody beats Judah, if you can take his shots and keep pressuring he cracks but after the PBF fight and especially the Lazcano fight I think I'd go Zab by stoppage too. Hatton's chin looks a bit cracked to me.

I think Hatton would take a decision win over Diaz.
I can see Hatton mauling and bullying Diaz and working his soft looking midsection.
Diaz has a good chin but Hatton might maybe be able to stop him with a body shot.

if the fight happens next year i favor diaz but if it was in there primes i say hatton by ko
