What would be the one sure way to get Khan's rep back up... beat a legend! There is no way on earth he is risked against a 'wanting to win' Barrera, when another loss ruins his career

MAB maybe my favorite fighter of all time if he could beat Amir Khan, then he would of beaten both Amir Khan, Naseem Hamed. I would love that to happen COME ON MAB.
Misssy was saying the same earlier but can he box at range all 12
This is about MAB? right?
Not only is he a master of the ring he also has more machismo then Khan will ever have Barrera will come to win make no mistakes, however i am well aware of Roachs influence going into this fight the worst for me would truly be Khans hand being raised at the end of 12 rounds.
Edge of seat stuff and maybe a lot of sadness if he were to lose:(
No it isn't Amir Khan has one chance and thats no chance at all. MAB looked pretty decent in his comeback fight, and he also fought well in his previous fights against Pacquiao 2, JMM, Juarez 2, i still believe MAB has alot left in the tank and he will stop Amir Khan in the 6th.
I cant believ i've just read thsi in todays paper.Im very surprised that Khan is up for this fight.Freddie Roach must know something is wrong with Barrera,is he weak or pasted it??I think Khan is bitten more than he can chew again here, unless Barerra is going to take a dive and propel Khan back into the lime light. The fight is question to be held in either London 02 arena or manchester's MEN arena or even Cardiff's Millenium Stadium on 14 march this year.If Barerra is really hungry for this fight then he'll smash Khan up badly up close.Dont get me wrong i like Khan as a boxer but to fight Barerra as he makes his long awaited come back is really risky!!!!Roach must know something:-\
Agreed ;D
Wow. My initial thought is that this is way too soon for Khan. Barrera's on the slide a bit, but he's still a very, very good fighter.
I'm actually going to be cheering for Khan, all the hate directed at him has made me like him, go figure...
Barrera by TKO.
That's the problem with Khan at the end of the day....he loves to fight toe to toe but against a granite chinned Warrior is always gonna end up horizontal;D
He could well just get sucked in by the atmosphere and go at Barrera which is when it's all over really.
No way he can trade with MAB and stay upright for long;)
He just hasn't got it in him.
This is a masive gamble by Warren. Another early KO and Khan is more or less finished. Khan signed a big money multifight deal with Warren just before the Prescott KO and I wonder if Frank has a get-out clause in the contract if Khan loses two fights. He probably got rubbish PPV numbers for Khan's last outing so if he does have the clause this fight is a win-win and it would explain why Warren made it. If Khan wins he's box office again, if he loses Warren makes a ton out of him from this massive fight and gets to cancel the rest of the contract.
I'm sure Frank is happy to do this but I wonder how keen Khan really is for this fight. :)
It would certainly explain a lot wouldn't it? I mean if Khan gets sparked early in such a high profile fight (definite possibility, let's face it :) ) then he's got no PPV earning/serious ticket selling potential for at least the rest of his current contract and probably for ever. So this just doesn't make sense unless Warren can cancel his contract or seriously renegotiate the numbers (much more likely) if Khan loses two fights during it. If Khan wins he gets his bandwagon going again, the man who beat the man who beat Naz. He's a big attraction in his own right. If he loses Warren gets to pay him a fraction of his current earnings and his name on the card helps sell Warren's forthcoming British Olympian promotions.
Unfortunately, I dont think Barrera will carry much power to lightweight. Hes on the way down, and Khan is a strong lightweight on his way up. Even though Barrrera is the greater fighter without question, I think Kahn uses his footwork and jab to win a decision. I cant see Kahn taking to many chances, but he has respectable enough power to keep Barrera at bay. Hopefully Im wrong and MAB tests his chin early.
Mab is still an elite fighter, he only lose to elite fighters and kahn is not an elite fighter. I said kahn made a good move training with freddie roach but this move here im not too sure of. Atleast he has freddie and pac to guide him on how to beat mab. Props to kahn and mab for taking this fight, it should be an interesting bout.
