He probably got rubbish PPV numbers for Khan's last outing so if he does have the clause this fight is a win-win and it would explain why Warren made it. If Khan wins he's box office again, if he loses Warren makes a ton out of him from this massive fight and gets to cancel the rest of the contract.

I'm sure Frank is happy to do this but I wonder how keen Khan really is for this fight.
That sounds about right. It surely has something to do with the last two crap PPVs?

I don't believe for a second Warren really believes Khan will be a dominant "world" champ - if he ever gets there at all

It would certainly explain a lot wouldn't it? I mean if Khan gets sparked early in such a high profile fight (definite possibility, let's face it ) then he's got no PPV earning/serious ticket selling potential for at least the rest of his current contract and probably for ever. So this just doesn't make sense unless Warren can cancel his contract or seriously renegotiate the numbers (much more likely) if Khan loses two fights during it. If Khan wins he gets his bandwagon going again, the man who beat the man who beat Naz. He's a big attraction in his own right. If he loses Warren gets to pay him a fraction of his current earnings and his name on the card helps sell Warren's forthcoming British Olympian promotions.
