Goddamn I sure hope so, I can't imagine that sack of shit being the HW champion.

Alvarez has a little welt brewing under right eye? He almost looks to patient
Re: "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes on HBO Saturday June 18th
I know he's pretty much fighting a domestic-level fighter, but I've been pretty impressed with what I've seen from Alvarez so far. He's quicker than I remember and he does a great job of choosing and placing his punches.

I agree and the way he tried to shake hands with Alvarez after every round is basically him asking Canelo not to hurt him.

Rhodes doesn't seem like anything special, I don't know what he's going to do to win this fight.
Re: "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes on HBO Saturday June 18th
Alvarez gets the kd off explosion...he could use a set up though. Kd a lil crappyish. More of a feardown than knockdown
Re: "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes on HBO Saturday June 18th
Nice KD for Canelo, a glancing shot.. Rhodes is digging himself a big hole.

Kind of like Mosley did in the Pacquiao fight?

Yup. Fighters do it all the time. I think it's Teddy Atlas who is always hyper-critical of it and I agree with him.
Re: "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes on HBO Saturday June 18th
Despite losing every round and being knocked down, Rhodes hasn't looked all that hurt so far, this looks like it will go the distance, since Rhodes appears to have a good chin.
Re: "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes on HBO Saturday June 18th
He looked little winded backing to ropes that round
Re: "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Ryan Rhodes on HBO Saturday June 18th
I tought Rhodes was a good counter puncher. He's had plenty of chances and nothing
