Yes, David Haye is a tool... as we all agree.
But there is so much more than that.

The B level Americans like Arreleo and others would love to stomp on Haye. I also think Price and Fury would stand a chance against Haye.
This pretty much sums up what Haye's all about. I'm sure Haye's fans will have some sort of "counter-point", but nothing can change these facts.
;)
did you just wink at me?
Its all about opinions matey
is david haye good enough to beat every other HW currently aside from the klits?
I think he is you obviously think he isnt
even if he KOs chisora in the first part of the fight
a lot of people will still deny his credentials, people just cant seprate their feelings towards him as a man and as a fighter
"Credentials"? What credentials??
Fraudly Harrison? John Ruiz? Valuev? Barrett?
Are you kidding me?
Do you purposely ignore the point being made over and over again, as to how Haye and his people think they can get a free pass to the top of the HW division, just because he was a great cruiserweight? Why is he automatically over fighters like Helenius? Adamek? Arreola?....who have been toiling at HW longer than Haye has, and have fought more credible opposition.
Haye's big mouth GOT him his undeserved freebie.... and he f*cked it up. He robbed people of their PPV money.... then blamed his sprained big toe as the problem. And to think we're giving Victor Ortiz shit about a broken jaw. And now he wants us to give him credit if he beats Chisora? Hell no. Have him EARN another shot at the top, by taking on some of the other, more deserving HW's.
Back of the line, Haye!
When you let personalities get in the way of your boxing opinions you look like you know very little.
It is VERY common for the champion in a division to move straight up to a title in the division above.
Very, very common.
Yet because Haye is seen as a dick by many it suddenly becomes an OUTRAGE. :rolleyes:
If you can't be objective and unbiased about boxing then don't talk on it.
Very good advice.
Haye haters, Floyd haters,
Naz haters. Some guys just can't seperate personality with ability/success.
Some quick bullets:
Haye = good cruiserweight
Haye = lousy, unproven heavyweight
Haye = loudmouth (talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk)
No shame in that.
Naz
- great entertainer
- exposed by MAB in his first big test
- quit boxing shortly thereafter
- remembered mostly by his humiliation at the hands of MAB, and his flying carpet entrances
Floyd = obnoxious, but currently world's p4p
That's it, in a nutshell.
Re: ADAM BOOTH:Haye 3rd best HW in world! Where would you place Haye right now?
The big knock on Hamed was not that he lost to MAB, but the fact that rather than avenge the loss and/or seek a rematch, like a real champion would try and do, he put his tail between his legs and quit boxing. That's why in my mind Naz wasn't anything special, when the going got tough he showed what he was made of.
As for Haye, i'd rather not even say what I think about him, I can only hope that Chisora gives him a good ass-whippin'.

Seriously now!
I guarantee Haye stops Chisora. It will be very similar to the Ruiz fight but I'm not Sure Chisora can take as much as Ruiz.
Also, I haven't been around for a while but is Lyle still saying Haye just squeezed past Ruiz? Sorry but I thought Haye looked impressive against Ruiz, and pretty much controlled the fight until it was stopped. That is not squeezing past!

A lot of people are saying that chiz has a good chin and he will last the rounds, i dont think so i think the stoppage will come quite early, first half of the fight at least
and yes the haye was dominant against ruiz

The only way Haye wins is if he stops Chisora. If Chisora weathers the storm in the early, we'll see a repeat of Haye's fight with Carl Thompson.
As for Haye vs. Ruiz, I didn't even bother watching, but if Haye looked "impressive" in that fight, who fucking cares. :jester-new:

When have I said that? If Haye "squeezed past" anyone it was Valuev (whom Holyfield had looked more dominant against).
The issue with Haye is that when he was a cruiserweight and Hell even right now, if you gave Haye the name of a top flight heavyweight he would not hesitate in saying he would not only beat them, but humiliate them....if given the opportunity to prove that he will bob and weave, duck and dodge the fight more effectively than he avoids punches in the ring. Of course the problems with contracts and signing fights are never his fault...he's always taking a pay cut to make sure "the big fights happen" :rolleyes:
Haye said he would decapitate Wladimir Klitschko & Vitali Klitschko and come fight night what happened? Nothing....all that talk and nothing
Re: ADAM BOOTH:Haye 3rd best HW in world! Where would you place Haye right now?
top 3? if someone gives me a reason for it. I'd place a few names way before him at the moment (including Adamek).

Haye’s performance against Ruiz was impressive but if he had to pick a style that suited Haye that would be dear old John. Chisora does not punch hard enough to cause Haye too much trouble so think David will win this probably on points as no one has been able to stop Chisora.
Re: ADAM BOOTH:Haye 3rd best HW in world! Where would you place Haye right now?
I place Adamek at 3. Damn the heavies are in bad shape.

David Haye is a punk. He always has been and he always will be...that doesn't mean anything about Chisora who is a fucking moron in his own right, I'm just saying Haye is a punk, he's a chickenshit.

Are you telling me that Haye deserved a third place for beating up a totally washed up and clueless Ruiz and a champion that was overprotected by King? Adamek, Thompson, both K, Arreola or even Chambers did fight bigger opposition overall in the HW than Haye. I'd give him a top 10 seed in good faith but never a top 5, let alone 3.

hes a dick (or punk if you like yes), i wouldnt say he is a chickenshit if that means he's got no bottle (as he clearly has got bottle) and if it doesnt mean that then I'm not sure if i agree or not
he is still one of the better HWs around today, and i wouldnt argue with 3rd best, i cant think of anyone other than the klits who would go into a fight with him as favourite
