Knowing that deficit punching puts you at a mechanical disadvantage and increases the range of motion thus increasing the flexibility required. I was wondering will deficits help you increase speed off the ground?

Balance from the other point of view: is why its a good idea to block and mess with someone at the elbow and knee points when in any form of battle specially during their full extensions,their corrections to balance give you openings to thread way your into them and wrap them up.
