That's more than you can say about the other greats whose names you guys keep mentioning.
This sport is a slow killer and Floyd is going to leave the sport on top having faced all the big names and with a perfect record.
Floyd will leave the sport a rich man yes BUT how long will those riches last with his lifestyle?? Also & I'm being very serious here, look and listen closely to Floyd. Can you understand half of what he says? He doesn't speak clearly to me. Look at the statements he's made in front of cameras Then a few days later Swear he never made those statements. Is he blatantly lying?? Or does he really have a memory problem???
I honestly & sincerely think he needs to be evaluated he has acted very erratically over the last few years. I know I'll probably get attacked for saying this but it does concern me. I am saying it all out of concern nothing else

So what's standing in Floyd's way of being a true great is the fact that he never fought Margarito and Paul Williams??

Frietas, Casamajor, Hatton and Cotto at 140lb and Kostya.
Re: Manny WILL get stopped and I guarantee this
I love Floyd haters. It's all revisionist history, it's always Floyd's fault if a fight never happened. I don't think there's ever been an athlete who's had such devoted haters. When Floyd retires undefeated it's going to truly piss off a lot of people.

Frietas, Casamajor, Hatton and Cotto at 140lb and Kostya.
When was he supposed to fight those guys?
He called out Frietas and Casamayor... they were on different networks.
COTTO turned down a fight at 140 because his camp felt he wasn't ready.
KOSTYA would have been nice but obviously Hatton destroyed him first.
And are we really going to go down this road again where Hatton would have been better if he had to weigh in at 140 instead of 147? The fat guy, the guy who balloons up on beer and fish n chips between fights, the naturally bigger guy, would have benefitted more from having to cut 7 more pounds of weight... it's such retarded logic you can't even argue against it.

Floyd was having diva moments when he could have faced Frieatas and Casamajor, no excuses.
Obviously chasing Kostya before he lost to Hatton and not Gatti.
You know Hatton was not the same force at 147lb, look how he struggled at the weight. He was a real champion at 140lb. Floyd knew that.
Re: Manny WILL get stopped and I guarantee this
Do you guys realize that there are a lot of greats who didn't beat every champion and tough contender within 3 or 4 weight classes of them? Can you imagine all the tough guys that guys like Ray Robinson and other fighters back in the day didn't fight? Read Jake Lamotta's book, he goes into great detail about the huge amount of young BLACK fighters who never got their shots against anyone because they weren't connected and were black. Guys who, in Lamotta's words, would have chased a lot of the champs and top contenders of the day out of the ring. There's no champion in the history of boxing who fought every challenge they possibly could.
But when you talk about the important fights, the big money fights that captivated the general public, didn't Floyd fight them all? DLH, Hatton, Alvarez, and now Pac... are guys like Margarito or Paul Williams going to be remembered in the annals of boxing history like those guys? Gummon bro ;D

Stop defending him Leonard Ellerbe you know I am right. :)

I'm not going to pretend I know everything that went on behind the scenes, but what I do know is Floyd called both guys out publicly (name me one guy in the history of boxing who publicly called out a guy he ducked). You don't call out guys you want to duck, you ignore them and hope that nobody talks about it. Casamayor and Freitas fought each other, had a controversial decision and a rematch was supposed to happen, Floyd chose to move up and fight the #1 guy at 135 instead.
The Hatton stuff I might as well argue whether there is a god to a Catholic. No matter what logic you bring up they're just going to cling to nonsense ;D Gummon bro ;D

Hatton fought Collazo at 147 two fights before taking on Mayweather. Knowing Fatton's beer burgers and blow diet you can hardly blame those extra 7lbs for his poor conditioning so quit the weak excuses.
Whats funny is that Hatton weighed in at 147 for his fight against Floyd, Floyd himself chose to come in light, weighing 145 the day before.

Therefore he could have made 140lb and did not because Hatton was poor at welterweight.
