Dont forget Fury has sparred with Joshua so he knows what he punches like.
Much like he knows what Price punches like. Two of the supposed biggest punchers in the world and neither dropped Fury who has a supposed glass jaw.
In Tyson's own words - "Joshua beat me up in sparring." And this was when Joshua was an amateur kid with just 20 fights under his belt. He's a serious bad man now.

bet he regrets saying that now
Doubt that very much. When has Fury ever taken himself or anything seriously;D
I have read an account of what happened and it was messy. Lots of tying up. Dont let Tysons demeanour or even body shape fool you ges a serious fighter. If he was so shit and his chin was so bad wouldnt it have been an inexperienced 17 year old Fury who hit the deck in their amateur fight and not Price?;D
Also, Wlad has invited Wilder, Joshua, Whyte, Parker and probably some other young heavies for sparring but when Tyson took himself to Steward in Detroit, Steward invited him to a camp and despite Tyson asking Wlad to spar Wlad refused!
Fury has been matched very carefully , Johnson , Chisora , have both been beaten comfortably by others and quicker than fury could beat them.
Fury gets his shot next , so we will see how he does against Wlad.
shame Haye shit himself
Only Haye knows the reason he pulled out twice , however this doesn't go down as a career achievement for fury, the fight never happened.
Never said it was. Im pointing out its unfair to criticise his opposition when he tried twice to make a fight with someone who some people regard as very dangerous.
Also, criticise Chisora as an opponent but thats Hayes best win and Fury faced him when he was unbeaten.
Yes and then fought him again after haye had KOED him ,so what's your point ?
Also I think haye may consider his win over Ruiz as his best win as he won a belt.
Remember Ruiz was a younger man than Wlad;)

The only reason Fury fought Chisora is because of Haye fucking him around:rolleyes: Oh and he had the mandatory position to fight for.;)

Chisora definately isnt hayes best win
chisora is however furys best win, or is it cunningham?
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Chisora would beat everyone else that Haye beat and everyone knows that. Hayes opponents were shite. His whole career was based on Wlad losing to Sanders and thinking all he needed was to be in the same ring and hed do the same.
If Chisora fought Valuev he also would have won a world title.
Chisora isnt a bad fighter. He gave Haye a competative fight. Fury handled him without breaking sweat. He gives everyone a tough night including Wlad which is why he pulled out of two scheduled fights with him.
Chisora might not beat everyone he fights but he makes everyone fight apart from Fury.

Hang on a minute . I didn't want to go down this road , but no offence Ross, that last post is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard in my life!
"Chisora would've beat everyone Haye beat" - how the fuck do you work that out? Who has Chisora actually beat ? Malik Scott! Watch the fight , Chisora lost virtually every fucking round and Scott got tagged and mistimed getting up , and was up on 9 - 9 and a half. Who else has Chisora beat! The guy is a repeat loser.
"Chisora would've beaten Valuev!" How for fuck sake, Chisora doesn't throw anywhere near enough punches. Against Fury, he was a walking punchbag. And Valuev was a genuine World Champion and the way you talk when the Chisora's and Fury's of this world have never won a fight at that level is disrespectful to say the least.
"He gave Haye a competitive fight" Haye hammered him and fucking knocked him out!
Going on Chisora's last fight, he should retire or he will get seriously hurt, he is finished. The only fight I see for him is a final payday against Joshua to get another KO on Joshua's belt along with a name albeit shot fighter.
You cannot say that Fury's record stands up to anywhere near Haye's when it comes to list of opponents.
Now Fury may well beat Klitschko or he may well get beat but do better than Haye did, but so fucking what !
Based on what we have seen, Fury hasn't really beaten anyone. We all know you love Fury, and good luck to you and him, but please a little bit of rationale wouldn't go a miss.

Your talking shit.
Haye did knockout Chisora but he was pushing Haye and landing punches more than he could on Tyson. Plenty of fighters have been knocked out early and still been competitive in the fight. Was Hearns not competitive against Hagler!!?
How would Chisora beat Valuev. Fairly fucking easy judging by Hayes display that night. He barely threw a punch himself. In fact Valuevs previous fight was against 48 year old Holyfield who looked better than Haye did!
Who else did Haye beat? Look at the names. Its a weak list. Its the sort of names that Wilder was fighting before Stiverne.

For fucks sake, I've heard it all now! Firstly, please don't compare Chisora's "competitiveness" with Hearns versus Hagler.
So Chisora was "pushing Haye and landing more than he could on Tyson" well that's not difficult because he didn't throw a punch in anger against Fury.
Tommy Hearns came out like a man possessed and threw more punches in those 3 rounds than Chisora and Fury combined in their whole fucking careers!
So Haye gets a Majority Decision v Valuev winning by 4 rounds on 2 cards and drawing on one. Haye knocks the fuck out of Chisora with less than half the fight gone and that gives Chisora , a non thrower of Punches a chance against a 7 foot giant WORLD CHAMPION with a record of 50-1? And Chisora would do that "quite easily" ? What the fuck are you smoking? And btw, that 48 year old Holyfield would've beat Chisora AND Fury at that time!
I've mentioned Valuev, apart from Klit and Audley, (who we'll discount cos he's a cunt!), Haye had beat Ruiz and Monte Barratt. Both of these guys had fought at World Level quite regularly and done ok. Fury has NEVER fought at World Level yet, and Chisora did twice if you discount Helenius (who he lost to anyway.) once against Haye (see above), and once against Vitali. Now against Vitali, he was given credit for being brave, but don't let that hide the fact that he lost every fucking Round!
Now the fact that Haye had only a handful of HW fights shouldn't count against him as we mustn't forget he was actually not only a World Cruiserweight champion, but he had cleaned up the division before moving up. Fury hasn't even cleaned up at British level!
Mark my words, this is what will happen, Fury will lose to Wlad , and then you will be on this forum saying "well at least he gave Wlad a better fight than Haye did!"
That sort of logic is for LOSERS. if he loses, he fuckin loses, I don't care if he "pushes Wlad around a bit" or if he turns fucking Southpaw halfway through the fight!
And I will re-iterate, you cannot use Chisora as a yardstick to further Fury's case because Chisora is a fucking bum!
Now who's talking shit? ;D
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Haye didnt clean up at Cruiser. He avoided Steve Cunningham who had the IBF belt and lost to Thompson!!
Chisora has been competitive with every fighter he's fought bar Fury in their rematch. No matter how many rounds he loses his opponent has to work to win them.
He would have done better than Haye against Valuev because he actually throws punches and can move his head and likes to fight. Valuev is a dunce. Haye doesnt fight and dont mention Wlad, hes not a win for Haye.
Barrett and Ruiz are the kind of opponents Fury would get shit for even mentioning;D
And thats Hayes heavyweight career right there;D
Fury wont be losing to Klitschko;)

You have a short memory. Haye didn't avoid Cunningham. Cunningham didn't even call for a fight with Haye. Haye was struggling with the weight and was going to move up after beating Mormeck but was implored to take the Maccarinelli fight so took it. Chisora was not competative against Haye. Haye won every single round while Chisora came forward, with poor head movement in straight lines and Haye did not miss. Nobody stopped Ruiz until Haye and was a former world champion. Has Fury ever been in with a former Heavyweight title holder? And bringing up the loss to Thompson in his 11th fight? Fury wasn't fighting former world champions that early in his career.

How long have you been watching boxing?
This makes your whole argument invalid as you have no knowledge of boxing to base any opinion on.

Fair play, I forgot all about the Tua fight. Tua was a bomber though who took out most. Ruiz proved his durability against plenty of top fighters.
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Oh and Cunningham was calling out Haye Cunningham calls out Haye | Boxing News | Sky Sports
He never cleaned up cruiser. Cleaning up means beating the majority of the contenders or top ten. Haye only fought 2! There was Adamek, Cunningham, Bell, Braithwaite, Huck.
I dont think you forgot about Ruiz getting sparked by Tua. I think you had to google.....

Braithwaite was beaten by Macca who then got bombed out in 2 by Haye so what would be the point of Braithwaite? Bell disappeared off the radar after Mormeck beat him. Adamek had his first Cruiserwight fight after Haye moved up in weight. Huck had lost to Cunningham and wasn't world level at that point. Cunningham was the only logical fight left at Cruiser and there was no money in it. Did Don King call Haye and make him an offer? It is hardly ducking if you're taking a bigger challenge against bigger, heavier and more skilled punchers. The money was at Heavy and he'd won 3/4 titles, beaten the #1 guy and become the lineal champ. You question my boxing knowledge but you think a guy that chased down Wladimir Klitschko ducked Steve Cunningham? Explain the logic in that one.
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
@ross your assessment of the chisora haye fight isnt how i saw it
chisora was pressuring him yes but landed next to nothing
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Its the old trick of lording the fighters that fury has beaten , to make him sound so much better.
His best wins -
Chisora blasted out by Haye.
Johnson blasted out be the novice Joshua.
Cunningham a former CW giving away 40lbs.
None of the above are punchers at top level , so lets face it fury has been carefully matched to get his rating and to protect the dodgy chin.
FACT!
