The last 10 years . Where's the beef ? All salad opponents, if GGG wanted a challenge he would make his management team create one. He is just a big fish with the wrong promotional company which has no one else. Stop the excuses 10 years and that resume of opposition..... Hope your Ol lady does not lie to you the same way
How do you create a world class pound for pound middleweight? Lego?
Who is the best in the 160 division? People thought Lemieux but he beat him easily. And Lemieux is the only top 160 guy who wanted to fight him. Jacobs and all the other beltholders want nothing to do with him.
How do you create a world class pound for pound middleweight? Have him knockout a series of average fighters ...... More like hype recipe. So after 10 years and no quality risk fight how many more years is ok with you?

That's because nobody has asked me about Mayweather-Marquez. I hated that fight also, and have said as much in the forum in the past. But let's not let the facts go unnoticed here. Mayweather never ran from anybody in his own weight class to go chasing after undersized opponents. The Marquez fight was offered to him, so he took it. Canelo is known by all of mankind to pick on undersized opponents... and all of mankind knows he's also shamelessly ducking GGG.
It's not one-way hatred.... it's fact.

Lemieux and Jacobs is your argument ? I am on then floor laughing. Sad case of wrong place at the wrong time. The division is a joke and being the princess at a troll pageant is no thing to boast about
Thirty years ago you would have been saying the same thing about Hagler. He's the most avoided fighter of his generation. No ifs, no buts, no two ways about it.

His work is done beating all the 160 marginal fighters. Time for him to step up and stop blaming Canelo for His lack of risk taking and move a weight class up
And fight who?
Re: Which fight is worse?
don't get me wrong I am happy about the GGG Brook fight
id have been happy for GGG to fight any given half decent super middle though

Avoided .... it's obvious you know little boxing and are just a GGG groupie. Comparing GGG to Hagler ..... stop the drugs this is not a comical site. Hagler fought Hearns, Mugabe, Roldan, Duran, Antuofermo and Sugar Ray how is this avoidance?

I loved that era and would never compare GGG to Hagler. However, some things that should be said...
Hearns, Duran, and Sugar Ray ALL had moved up from lower weights. Hearns may have been a natural MW due to his size, but Duran and SRR were not. Also, Hagler had the luxury of having been around at a time when there was a bonanza of great opposition with which to make his legacy. GGG hasn't had that luxury... yet.
And why the insistence on having GGG move up in weight when he probably feels 160 is his best weight and maybe he wouldn't fare so well above that?
All of this goes back to Canelo. You defend Canelo tooth and nail because well........... well, because you're a fan. But it doesn't erase the fact that Canelo's body is that of a bonafide middleweight. Everybody on Planet Earth knows that. But just like JCC Jr. did, he chooses to squeeze himself into a weight class where he knows he'll step into the ring at a huge weight advantage over his opponent. There is no reason whatsoever why he can't accept a fight with GGG at 160. None whatsoever. Bringing up issues such as "deserving a fight with Canelo", or letting the fight "marinate", are just excuses to have Canelo avoid what the fans should get.

The only insistence I have is that ggg fight a quality opponent even a 154 fighter. The problem is ggg is promoted by the no name guppy promotion company that only has the aged Klitschko brothers. They have no traction in England or the Americas. They have invested little into the the business landscape of boxing. They have coddled ggg for ten yearsc and they are the ones making all the avoidance claims. They simply are holding their sole asset from fighting any threat. Canelo is the current PPV champion and should be afforded the cherry picking Pac and Mayweather were allowed. It's a new world and a Mexican is in the PPV cat bird seat. "MEXICAN FIGHTERS CAREERS MATTER",
For years they have been low balled knuckleheads while black, white and one Filipino dictated and did all the things everyone hates Canelo for. A fan of Mexican fighters not so much a Canelo fan. Canelo has already said he will fight ggg in 2017. So is ggg going to fight as if on eGGG crates fighting safe opponents until then? Going on 11 years without taking a risk, what a shame.

I say this because I do not recall you saying anything about Canelo fighting Cotto before the fight you wer happy fot the opportunity to be happy in a Cotto triumph. Then Cotto loses and you have a problem, screw you Cotto & GGG. Real men face challenges . Amen for real fighters like Frampton and Crawford who stepped up in weight and dominated. GGG has no balls or desire to face a challenge. Same applies to Cherry picking Canelo with the exception he has fought marque names with advantages. Pac did the same manipulative things throughout his career and has millions to show. Name which fighter outside of Marquez early on that Pac fought in their prime? Name me a skilled athletic fighter he fought with true Knockout power? Name me a fighter Pac fought that had lateral movement with power. Pac feasted on stright foward fighters tailored to his style. The only good athletic black fighters he fought were powerless Mayweather and Bradley. Look at his resume after Marquez put him to sleep thei all safe bets that possess power average below the Mendoza Line. Now Pac adds an exclamation mark to his David Copperfield career. ( The Greatest Boxing illusionist ) avoiding Crawford to fight Vargas. Crawford has the traits Manny has always avoided, Young, at his peak, athletic, Quick, black, southpaw, and possess power.
Pac is now an ATG and Canelo gets eaten alive for stealing the recipe. GGG is also using the recipe but he gains notoriety. I defend Canelo because I am a Latino and finally there is a Latino fighter driving the bullshit bus. I am not a fan of his . Too bad Cotto or other deserving Puerto Rican champions never got the really big lights !!
Re: Which fight is worse?
This is not hate for a Mexican fighter but for the blatant duck to avoid GGG.
It is great that Canelo is controlling his career but he said he was ready to fight Golovkin not put out a scripted statement and say i will fight him 2017.

False. I had plenty to say before the Cotto-Canelo fight. From Day One I said Canelo was much the bigger man, and the two should never be compared in their ducking of GGG. (Yes. In all my fan-hood... I can admit Cotto ducked GGG). But whereas Cotto is naturally smaller than GGG, Canelo isn't. He's just scared shitless. Cotto is small even for a LMW. That he excelled at that weight is a testament to his heart and skill. Canelo is a full-blown MW. He could fight GGG tomorrow, but chooses not to, because he's scared shitless.

He's never backed down from anyone in his own weight, unlike Canelo. You castigate him for not wanting to go up in weight to fight Ward, but that is never the same as Canelo avoiding 160 like the plague. Obviously, you have to dump on GGG because you think it helps your case on Canelo. It doesn't.

Now I KNOW you're smoking something. I'll have some of that. "Stealing the recipe"?? Pac went UP in weight and challenged fighters much bigger than him, exactly the opposite of what Canelo does, which is feast on undersized or over-the-hill fighters (or both). What recipe is that? Gotta lay off the weed.

Wrong again. It's a combination of the weed and just plain, blind hate. Never got the big lights? (Whatever that means). Obviously, you've been asleep over the last couple of decades. I suggest you catch up on what you've missed.

In one breathe you discredit Cotto for avoiding GGG but give him credit for fighting a bigger Canelo. Looks like you're smoking and droppping pills. No matter what you type GGG made the pendulum swing my way by opting to fight Brook while smaller fighters like Crawford and Frampton moved up challanged and won. They displayed the balls GGG lacks.

Yeah Pac moved up opposite of what GGG has done . Do you read what you write ? There would be nothing for me to write if GGG even had a challanging opponent in his 10 year career leaving Canelo out of the subject. I want to see the fight as does everyone else but what about all the other previous years before Canelo?

Wrong again. It's a combination of the weed and just plain, blind hate. Never got the big lights? (Whatever that means). you've been asleep over the last couple of decades. I suggest you catch up on what you've missed.[/QUOTE]
Meaning for all the champions PR has had they have amounted to shit in the public eye and never saw the really big paydays and if you do not know what the big light means you are truly a simpleton . (Look it up)
