he is up and yapping away again so I think he's fine, nasty ko, khan should think about giving it up, he's rich no need for anymore risks

well that will be another one of my most viewed youtube clips along with Prescott and Garcia
I hope the guy is alright afterward!
Maybe that will give Canelo enoght confidence to get in with GGG
The body shots set up that knock out
Canelo v Lemieux next
DeLa Hoyas fat grinning head really fucking annoys me, seems to be everywhere this week, he's not content with standing on the sidelines at all is he
That was a real shame as Khan was boxing his ears off early on. I think in the previous round Khan got hit by being sloppy and then the same thing happened with a more serious result the next time out. I give Canelo about zero credit for the performance and hope he will now finally face Golovkin and get the beating he deserves for picking on smaller men.
As for Khan it would be better for him to retire. He has been stopped how many times now and wobbled against lesser opponents? This knockout was pretty bad and his ability to take a punch is getting a bit scary like Hatton towards the end. Granted there will be money in fighting Brook, but Brook will probably stop him too. I think the damage is too much now.
Always the worry with Khan. I had it 4-1 to Khan at the time of the stoppage. What can I say. I still dont rate Canelo. Not a chance in hell he beats Golovkin.
Fuck yea. Preach Virgil.
I'm hoping it loads up on YouTube shortly
Khan and Virgil making themselves sound like dicks there in my opinion, yeah we all want to see him fight GGG and he should fight him but he has just sparked your fighter out, their concern should be on Khans career not Canellos
This was a complete one punch KO. Khans chin isn't the issue, did people miss the replay? Funny that both Khan and Virgil were calling Canelo out to fight GGG lol, seems a bit contrived but still cool. Glad that Khan seemed fine in the post fight interview as well.
Canelo looked half arsed until the brick. Khan did what expected early, very sharp, but the chin just doesn't care in the end. Like Golovkin to batter Alvarez inside of 8
the KO is already there:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16ZR...?v=16ZRE67Nvqw
It's almost as thought they were afraid if they didn't say it, it would never get said allowed by anyone on camera. God bless them for giving the fans a voice in this sham. Especially with Alvarez saying GGG had to "earn a fight with him".
Has 1 person picked Canelo against GGG? Not a troll job, does 1 person really believe Canelo will win that fight?
2nd part, if absolutely nobody believe Canelo stands a chance why do people want to see it?
GGG Vs the 4th or 5th best JR Middleweight yippee! I say F that. I say Canelo dumps the belt, and GGG is quicker to moving on to finally fighting someone on his level.
I hate to say I told you so. Respect to Khan for taken the fight. I actually like Khan so I thought it was crazy fight to make. We have weight classes for a reason and we were reminded of that once again today. In a way it was the best possible outcome for Khan. He got taken out quick and suffered minimal damage.
I don't go in for the "Khan was boxing his ears off till he got caught" line either. I had it level at the time. Where is Khan going to go now ? Is going to go cap in hand to brook ? His market value is lower than a snakes belly now but I still think Khan will slit his throat b4 letting Brook beat him. Irony is the welterweight division is much hotter than the middleweights
I think Canelo broke Khan's rib or ribs ... there was blood on the side when he fell
Cracking shot at the end. Canelo got a read on Khan much quicker than I thought he would. Khan needed to feint more and became pedestrian fairly suddenly.
The first two rounds were easy to score Khan rounds. The next couple of rounds were closer, but Khan was still outlanding Canelo. In saying that though Canelo was starting to get through with body shots. The 5th was a Canelo round with more body work and a big shot up top and then the next round it was all over. Khan was easily up at the end of the 5th IMO, but he was slowing probably due to the body work and all the movement he was making at an unnatural weight. The KO was an expected outcome.
I feel really sorry for Amir this time out as he was always too small for this and everybody knew as much. The only people thinking Khan could win were those who probably wanted him to win based on hope rather than reason. That was a brutal KO and the way Khan crumpled felt all too familiar. It was foolish to jump in weight like he did and it is a shame nobody advised him against it. That was a Hatton/Pac style stoppage and I am not sure where he can go from there. It looked really serious at first.
Canelo might wanna stay as far away from golo as far as he can cause he gets messed up bad
It's human nature to want to see a bully get a taste of his own medicine.
Canelo is very clever on there, patient, and confident. He's a sharp fighter and I feel would be competitive against GGG. Unfortunately for Canelo, GGG possesses all of those qualities plus far more punching power.
I'd give Canelo a slight defensive edge, but that's it. Khan fought bravely tonight and did well for a while. I don't see GGG outright KOn Canelo, but more likely TKOn him or at least dropping him twice en route to a....draw lol
It went the way pretty much as I expected
Khan boxed really well and got caught with a devastating punch and it was good night.
He did show some balls taking the fight, Khan is a fine boxer but his chin is a big factor in his fights.
Hopefully if Khan fights on he will face Brook he still is a big draw and a fight I would like to see.
Just watched it. Went exactly as I and most thought. Was never going to stay away for 12 rounds.
Strange post fight from Hunter turning it on Alvarez to step up.
Yes he was bigger but Khan still got caught. A decent 147 pounder landing same on Khan would have same outcome.
Think Khan will have one more pay day and out. He'll avoid Brook
I'm not even sure about one last payday. I don't believe Khan will get back down to 147. If they do fight, expect another bullshit CW at 150 or 151, purely for the sake of making them both big bucks with nothing at stake. This is what bugs me, meaningless fights proving fuck all but giving them massive pay days.
Fucking joke really.
Amir Khan's world-middleweight title dreams ended in the heartache of defeat in Las Vegas when WBC champion Saul Alvarez stopped him with a heavy knockout in the sixth round.
The 29-year-old had made a promising start to the fight he required by capitalising on his speed to build an early lead.
However, he ultimately proved too small and not elusive enough to evade the bigger fighter for the 12-round distance.
Amir Khan says he has no regrets after being knocked out by Saul Alvarez.
The Bolton-based boxer’s ambitious WBC middleweight title bid ended in the sixth round after Canelo connected with a brutal right hook.
Khan was sent crashing to the ground after he was caught on the chin by the huge hit, but had claimed victory in the opening rounds after utilising his renowned boxing skills.
“I’m a natural 147 (pounds) fighter, but this challenge came and it was very hard to turn down,” Khan told host American broadcasters HBO after the fourth defeat of his 35-fight career.
“I want to be the best, I want to fight the best and that’s why I took this fight.
“I’m one of those fighters that will step in the ring with whoever.
“I showed my bravery by getting in the ring with Canelo, but this is boxing.
“I wanted to go out there as a champion.”
So what next for Canelo?
He has now been challenged to fight the unbeaten Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin, the current WBA and IBF world champion who was ringside at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Alvarez said: “I invited him to come to the ring.
“We don’t come to play in this sport, I fear no one in this sport.
“As I said in the last fight, I’ll put on the gloves again right now.”
The Brit impressed in the first four rounds, but his Mexican opponent floored him with a huge right hand to retain his WBC middleweight belt

It was always an uphill task for Amir Khan, but the ballsy Brit gave it his all in Las Vegas against his heavily-fancied Mexican opponent. And he gave a great account of himself in the opening few rounds, consistently beating Canelo to the punch and racking up a lead on the scorecards of most neutral observers.
But there was always the danger of him getting caught with one big shot that could sway the tide of the fight the way of the flame-haired champion - and that’s exactly what happened.
A lazy jab from Khan and a rocket of a right hand from Canelo was enough to end an absorbing contest.
