It's make or break time in the rematch for brewster. I think it'd be the same again though. Maybe he won't come in so soft this time.

In the rematch who knows, with a few more months of training from McGirt maybe Lamon improves his defense and boxing skills enough to get the belt back. It sounded like McGirt got Lamon to boxing and using his jab a little more this fight, so who knows what Lamon could be doing for their next fight.

This was an awesome fight, but Brewster was really disappointing. There were points throughout the fight, where if Brewster would have pressed the fight, he might have KOed Lya. But what's stopped me from being a Brewster fan, was the fact that he didn't press the fight in the 11th and 12th when he needed it. Lya fought a hell of a match though.

Dont you just love it when someone is so biased with their favorite fighter that they can no see anything but that fighter beating anything and everything put in front of them. I mean come on, Rahman has his limitation just like all of the other fighters out there. He is far from a perfect fighter, the heavies out there are not great, and he is not the best out of the lot. Plain and simple. I am not trying to bash Rahman but you gotta be objective.

You can laugh if you want, but he already beat Wlad and Wlad already beat Byrd.

I've always acknowledged his shortcomings, I've said before that he's not much of a boxer, I said earlier in this thread that I was nervous about this one, that Lamon doesn't always show up, that Buddy McGirt is probably overrated, but Brew still has power and a chin and that's usually enough to beat this soft crop of Heavies.

The truth is there really is no champ, Wlad's gonna beat Byrd again and might clean up the other belts, but mark my words he will stay away from Lamon because it's a bad matchup for him and his chin.

if big wladdy just boxed brewster he would have NOTHING to worry about, its the way he fought brewster that beat him, as long as he takes him time, doesnt shoot for a KO, and is willing to hold he would have an easy time with brewster

But i know that Rahman is 1 of the best heavyweights from today... My other then Rahman favorite heavyweights are The Nigerian Nightmare Peter,The Ibraginov brothers and Tua is still there lets see what will happen . . .

I don't know about that. Wlad had some dangerous spots with Peter and Peter is like a poor man's Brewster.

i live out in korea so its a lottery whether i get a big fight live....sometimes i do, others not...very random...

they usually show fights a few days later though.....too much K1 not enough boxing!!!!!
