Why would being a southpaw be an advantage?

Cajones- Very Big Not so Big anymore
I've read Oscar had difficulties dealing with southpaws... It's also a general assessment that southpaws are at an advantage over right-handed boxers since southpaws are used in fighting with right-handers while right-handers does not have the luxury of meeting southpaws on regular basis...Quote:

As much as I don't want to see this fight, another part of me wants to see it.
I also don't know why I want PAC MAN to win but I do. My heart is with Pac Man but if I had to put any money down on this fight, I would lay it down on Oscar. I hope my heart is right :D

It was in good terms but both parties are not really happy with their partnership... Barrera feeling he didn't get the big fights and substantial support from GBP and GBP feeling Barrera didn't deliver the numbers to the company/promotions...Quote:
