Evander Holyfeild avoided people are you high ross he fought damn near ever fucking fighter he could. As for the era Tyson ruled is as weak as this one damn near and he fucking lost to Buster Douglas at 40 to 10 to win the thing. People say this era is weak but i am sure it beats any thing form 1900 to 1960. There was the 70's and 90's they are the gold ages alright this time looks bad because it followed the 90's. I think if Wald keeps winning he will get in the top ten i have to see how it all ends for him.

I didnt say specifically that Holyfield avoided fighters, said Lewis and Holyfield avoided fighters and got beat, between the two of them they never had a long extended period of dominance where noone else could be regarded as a champ.
Lewis avoided Byrd, even dropped his title to fight Kirk Johnson instead;D
No one else since Tyson has had that many fights while being the undisputed heavyweight champ.

And how did Mr. Tyson fair in the 1990's? He was at MOST the 3rd best fighter of that era, perhaps 4th with Lennox, Holyfield, and Bowe to contend with.

Wlad has never been the generally recognized champ, I stand by that, as he has never fought Vitali.
And yes Wlad is involved in a weak era, that he has no control of. But as you mentioned, other fighters, particularly Heavyweights got over that handicap, and did not let be an excuse at the end of their career. Wlad has lacked the ability of others in that department.

#1. Did Mike Tyson ever avenge a defeat? Did Mike Tyson ever get off the canvas to win a match? As for "Tag Team partner", how about Don King? You DO know that the judges in the Douglas fight were going to allow Mike to keep the belts.....had he finished the fight right? Look at the scorecards, grade A DKP cronyism.
#2. Joe Louis, 25 in a row Tyson doesn't even come close to matching THAT kind of dominance. You can brag about the 3 belts Tyson had, but there are even more belts now, Wlad holds 4: IBF, IBO, WBO, WBA...and also The Ring title. So if 3 is "good" then how does 5 suit you? Wlad still has to make mandatory defenses of those titles, but he also does optional defenses too ergo his doubling+1 of Tyson's defenses of the IBF title.
#3. Wlad was champion while Vitali was retired. He has dominated his era FACT. There's nobody that Vitali fought in his comeback that Wlad couldn't beat.

How long was Vitali retired actually i forgot about that how long was that time period. If it was a few years then i guess Wald would of been the man for that time period and i am sure his brother will retire before he does so has a few more years if he wants to have to see.

Well that would make him the man during that time then i say he stronger case for top ten if that is true. I mean Vatili not fighting for 4 years and i think Wald was ranked at the top during that time as well i will have to check that out and see.

Wlad tried to fight Valuev MULTIPLE TIMES, he was the only guy even trying to unify the titles at the time.
Wlad was ready to fight Sanders again. Sanders had retired in 2004, attempted a comeback in 2006, got KO'd in 2008 and the rematch never materialized and then sadly Sanders was shot and killed. Wladimir DID rematch Lamon Brewster and Wlad demolished him. Don't fucking doubt Wlad would have fought Sanders again.
Mike Tyson never even fought Buster Douglas again, nor Kevin McBride, nor Danny Williams. He got smashed by Holyfield and fouled his way out of trouble in the rematch. He fouled out of a fight ON PURPOSE because he was terrified of getting KO'd again. He rematched Bruno and Ruddock and was successful, but they were the exception rather than the rule.
