I am not sold on Ward, but will concede that he won the majority of the rounds. I thought his method of doing so was dubious, but he does have some skills. I maintain that Kessler is able to do much better in a rematch, which might well happen later on. Kessler is only just back proper after a long lay off and an easy tuneup, he will only get better.
kessler looked like the one-dimensional stiff robot that he is.
I'm not big on Ward's duck and hold style. And he did hold way to much. I'll give you that. But surely you had to see Kessler having trouble with Ward's speed and pretty much swinging and missing all night. That wild left hook attempt was just sad.Quote:

Calzaghe was a puzzle Kessler could´nt solve :eek: and dam it Ward used the same pieces again.
What I saw was a Kessler that could not handle WARD, with or without headbutts I was impressed with ward.
An I hope we wont hear a lot of excurses from Kessler this time, it was just not his night.
I dont see Kessler win a rematch either, since he dont seem to have learn from the Calzaghe fight I doubt he will be able to do it this time either.
It's not normal for a fighter to slip or avoid a shot only to get hugged upon as they counter. The ref was pure shit, probably sells sheds or makes spoons for a living.Quote:

I think it does prove Kessler has always been a bit over rated as I have said alot, like VD says the holding was exessive but, Kessler was punching air all night in his bread and butter style which is just on the outside, Ward dominated Kessler at what Kesslers good at.
Ward looked good tonight I think he gives all the Euros fits. He also looked alot stronger than I thought he was.
