Geesh, that was a real serious one. I wish I had the time to read them all. The daily devotion guide on my newspaper often does comment on some words or phrases that are not clear. They sometimes show the original meanings of the word in Aramaic, Greek etc. Like for example, I remember them explaining the word gehenna which is understood to mean hell but was actually meant to be something like a garbage dump in early Israel, though I'm not sure if I remember that correctly.Quote:

There are many historical examples of those types of events, and I will post some of them when I have time.
(Actually, some events recur for some purpose, which is karmic in nature, but that is another story, so I won't go into that here - it's just too complicated.)

Once apon a time there was a man called Edward sizzor hands. Edward was a Mythological figure from the future. When he heard about the Crucifixion he was so moved that he went back in time and tried to cut down the Christed figure from the cross.
This enraged the Roman guards so much that he was cruxified next to the two Robbers who were nailed up each side of the Jeshua. Edwards sizzors ended up going rusty and he died a robbers death.
Thus the eternal link between robbers and rusty sizzors.:cool:
