The legit world title belts he has won have been
WBC flyweight title
IBF super bantamweight title
WBC super featherweight title
WBC lightweight title
,he has won at 112,122
,126,130,135,
140lbs and
147lbs would make it 7
At 126 he was lucky to escape with a draw when he challenged for the titles against Juan Manuel Marquez and Hatton didnt have a title at 140.
I didnt realise he was fighting at 147 either
He isnt fighting at 147 but if he wins against Cotto and the belt is on the line it will go down as he won a belt at 147.Hatton had a ring belt and the the crappy Ibo i think. But according to roach the ring belt will be classed as the 6 world title belt

you dont count 126? you dont know your own favorite fighter was the champ there and not jmm. mab was ring champion when pac beat him. thats 6th titles and 147 would make it the record 7th title.

ring champ, but held no world title, which is what they basically rule it by, i for one count Pacquiao as a 6 weight class champ, but don't agree that he's held 4 lineal titles

Most don't believe that the 'lineal' championship at 108 existed, it's a tenuous link getting there.
But what's with the personal attacks on people?
If someone disagrees even in the slightest about his achievements they become a 'Pac-hater' right

So now now we arent counting world titles but we are counting who the number one at the weight was?
In that case was David Diaz recognised as the best lightweight out there ? Did Pac beat the number 1 lightweight? Its just so we have clarity . . . .did he become champ at those weights or did he beat the best at those wieghts or is it a mixture of both cuz im counting 4 world titles.

However to some...
Nah! Pac is a cheater, dehydrator, and manipulator... or is he really! Whichever side of the fence you are on I guess.
Pacquiao is helping the sport of boxing a lot at the tills, I'd say!
give me a break, only time i said Pac fought a dehydrated fighter was against DLH and whoever tries to dispute that FACT is a fool, manipulator, well he has been manipulating the whole catchweight bullshit so that it favors him more than in trying to make it an even fight, did it against Mosley and now Cotto, i give him credit for his win against Hatton, it was against the best fighter at 140, and regardless what others might say i don't think Hatton really has any excuse to why he lost, he was making weight comfortably, and constantly reminded everyone how he was undefeated at 140, but the way people try to make Manny seem like he can walk on water a shit gold is ridiculous, Pacquiao isn't saving boxing so give up, boxing has never really been in danger regardless of what some may say, you don't go around paying fighters 15 million minimum for every fight (DeLaHoya) if the fight itself isn't making money
You cant seriously say Cotto will be dehydrated at 145.
He weighed in 146 in his last fight. Another pound lighter aint gonna do a lot of harm.
Exactly mate.
Re: Cotto's welterweight belt is on the line!!!
I don't really care about the belt. Pac beating Cotto is good enough for me.

all i know is i don't wanna hear that Pac was too small if Cotto runs right through him, after all he did crush DLH at welter

he's already been bashed in the face by cinderblock gloves, doubt he'll fear Pac much, Manny on the other hand, i don't think he's gonna be as willing to engage, i predict it now, Cotto by TKO in the 6th

That's not right.. The Ring went out of buisness for a short time in 1989, when they restarted they stopped recognising lineal champs. That's why the lineage is lost in 1989. They then ignored their own history when they restarted the ratings years later.
You can trace Pac from Yong-Kang Kim.
Yong Kang Kim-Sot Chitalada-Maungchai Kittikasem-Yuri Arbachakov-Chatchai Sasakul-Manny Pacquiao.
The man who beat the man ;)
