Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
What a damn fight. Tough fight to score. Can't wait to see it in a better then shitty ass link. Mtagwa is a warrior. Lopez got a serious wake up call, and very nearly a good night Irene.
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Vasquez just pulled it out, he had a rough start but he landed some good shots and the fight changed.

Yeah, he does, but Mtagwa was a guy we were expecting to get KO'd within the early rounds. That was a close fight. Mtagwa deserves so much credit for that & I hope he gets another title shot soon.
Oh I agree completely, this was just as good as his come from behind fight against Tomas Villa.
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
unless Lopez took the fight lightly, he better get his shit together, lucky to get out of the fight without going down, much less getting a decision with the score of 115-111

caballero seems more dangerous now.
I didn't really see caballero as a threat to Lopez until this fight. But if he uses his height and reach to stay away from Lopez's power shots and lands his own, Lopez might be in for a very long night.
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Lopez should hand over that belt. Also I'd like to know whether the judge who scored it 114-113 had the last round 10-8 which it undoubtedly was.
Haha, Lopez ain't going there again, if he does I'll have a lot of respect for him.
That's the first real competitor to Marquez-Diaz as FOTY.

Arum is such a piece of shit. Lol at Puerto Rican fans booing his lying ass.
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Rematch? Fukk no! :rofmaoal:
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Well, that was a great fight. We haven't had a good one like that very recently, so it was good to see. I applaud both of them for leaving everything in the ring, because that's what we as fans want to see, and they gave it to us. :appl:
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
i had Juanma winning by two points, but there were plenty of rounds that could have gone either way, so a very close fight and there should be a rematch
Re: Latin Fury 12 & Israel Vazquez fight talk
Lopez showed some good resilience not completeley falling apart at the end, he was in some deep waters as they say. That was his first fight past ten rounds, he need to work on his endurance a bit or pace himself. He did get caught up into Mtagwas pace in that fight.

no doubt, and imo it bothered him that Mtagwas was able to take his shots, or that he was able stun him but then he'd recover, he was a bit hell bent on getting him out of there, but both showed heart, desire to win, and resilience, both took huge bombs flush and kept coming back for more

So would Marquez and Caballero
Juan Ma's off to featherweight now, Arum's talking about Luevano next. No way Arum risks him against Caballero, he'll get a couple of nonpunching featherweights then a fight with Gamboa.
