I can't believe that Lopez hung in for that round, you have to give him credit for that.

Yeah, he does, but Mtagwa was a guy we were expecting to get KO'd within the early rounds. That was a close fight. Mtagwa deserves so much credit for that & I hope he gets another title shot soon.

Lopez should hand over that belt. Also I'd like to know whether the judge who scored it 114-113 had the last round 10-8 which it undoubtedly was.

Haha, Lopez ain't going there again, if he does I'll have a lot of respect for him.

That's the first real competitor to Marquez-Diaz as FOTY.

Well, that was a great fight. We haven't had a good one like that very recently, so it was good to see. I applaud both of them for leaving everything in the ring, because that's what we as fans want to see, and they gave it to us.

i had Juanma winning by two points, but there were plenty of rounds that could have gone either way, so a very close fight and there should be a rematch

Lopez showed some good resilience not completeley falling apart at the end, he was in some deep waters as they say. That was his first fight past ten rounds, he need to work on his endurance a bit or pace himself. He did get caught up into Mtagwas pace in that fight.

no doubt, and imo it bothered him that Mtagwas was able to take his shots, or that he was able stun him but then he'd recover, he was a bit hell bent on getting him out of there, but both showed heart, desire to win, and resilience, both took huge bombs flush and kept coming back for more
