Rigondeaux pops off some 1-2s straight away. Rigondeaux gets turned around by Cordoba. Rigoneaux looking sloppy lunging in, Cordoba jumps out of the way. Corodoba moving away. Kellermen says Rigondeaux is already the best 122 lb. fighter. Rigondeaux landing some good jabs, but a lot of shots are falling short. Cordoba not looking like he's able to get anythign going

This is boxing, so at least give the audience something to see. I am not arguing for him to be pummelled into a coma. Just let the man hit the canvas. He wasn't exactly out on his feet there. They should have let Harrison go down again too.

I disagree. If a fighter is hurt or in serious danger at any point whether standing up, on the canvas or on the ropes, it's time to stop the fight. This sport is brutal, but it is still a sport and not a death match. The health of the fighters come first and foremost, not the lust for blood and brutality as the spectators demand.

Cordoba jabs to the body. Rigondeaux lands a jab to the body. The crowd starts whislting. Rigondeaux winning a jab contest. Sweeping right from Rigondeaux misses again. Poor fight, neither willing to engage.

Rigondeaux lightning fast jabs. stalking now, body shot, delayed reaction and Cordoba goes down. Rigondeaux wails the body. Cordoba covering tightly now. Two right hooks for Rigondeaux land. Sweeping right misses for Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux misses two more, Cordoba clinches. Cordoba lands a counter to the body too little too late.

No, I am not bloodthirsty and if his corner wanted to stop it then that's their choice and theirs alone to make. I just didn't think he was all that badly hurt. Took a couple of hard shots and then the towel was thrown. I was only half joking when talking about Harrison though. He was beyond awful and deserved another KD.

He could end this anytime with rib shots

Cordoba keeping the guard tight to the body, pitter pat jabs. Rigondeaux completely clinical now.

He doesnt look to put it all together too well...uppercut was effective last round. He coasts in there...

Left upper counter from rigondeaux, much better round from both fighters. Cordoba gets the better of an exchange and Rigondeaux's knees hit the canvas, first knockdown of his career. Rigondeaux away working the outside now. Cordoba stalking now, Cordoba lands a strong jab. Cordoba outlanding and outworking Rigondeaux in that round
