Junior middleweight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. returns to headline a Top Rank PPV card April 26 in Mexico. Top Rank's Bob Arum told ESPN.com that Chavez will face Italy's Michele Orlando (35-5-2, 18 KOs). Orlando has won five in a row since February 2006, when he was stopped in the 10th round by Michel Trabant (who recently appeared on HBO and was blown out by Andre Berto).
JCC is too inconsistent for me. He looks good in 1 fight then looks bad in the next one.
I mean look at his last fight he looks really good at the start then almost fades out completely. Just standing there not doing much and waiting around. Some people call that patience I call it loosing rounds... :) due to inactivity.
I do like the fact that his opponents quality is going upward and that's good for him.
I like the fact that Chavez is fighting on a regular basis
I read somewhere that people think his little brother is a more serious prospect, Omar I think? Anybody seen him fight?
Ive Heard that to about Omar, but he is still young. But Jcc jr is slowly but surely moving up in competition, he is still a young fighter and most guys at that point in his career arent on ppv cards like that either

I rather see him train and take his time to develope instead of staying too active but only fighting bums for an easy paycheck. Well I don't know maybe he will get better beating on bums until his 30 and with 90 pro fights :p
hell his dad is about the best fighter to ever come out of Mexico and he had bout 40 odd fights before fighting anybody worth mentioning

Omars more athletically build, moves more better handspeed and footwork but JCC Jr. is more schooled and more mature in the ring.Quote:

i tend to get the impression that most people like Omar more than Jr. cause he looks a lot more like his father than Jr., both in body structure and in style of fighting
