I read somewhere that people think his little brother is a more serious prospect, Omar I think? Anybody seen him fight?

Ive Heard that to about Omar, but he is still young. But Jcc jr is slowly but surely moving up in competition, he is still a young fighter and most guys at that point in his career arent on ppv cards like that either
I really em not impress by JCC jr atleast not yet. he is staying active and i don't know if thats a good thing for a young fighter or not. For his age should he really have that many pro fights already? I know he didn't have much of an amatuer background but was it a last minute thing that they'd figure ooh since your dad is a boxing legend go ahead be a pro now. Didn't he planned early enough to be a boxer to have amature fights? I don't even think his specially strong, I doubt he'll be much in the future unless he starts sharppening up and not just getting the $$$$ for all the pamperred fights for him. This really won't help building up a fanbase either cause guys would rather see him ktfo then win if he keeps up the pace his at. I rather see him train and take his time to develope instead of staying too active but only fighting bums for an easy paycheck. Well I don't know maybe he will get better beating on bums until his 30 and with 90 pro fights![]()
hell his dad is about the best fighter to ever come out of Mexico and he had bout 40 odd fights before fighting anybody worth mentioning
Bring on Ronald Hearns for JCC jr?
i tend to get the impression that most people like Omar more than Jr. cause he looks a lot more like his father than Jr., both in body structure and in style of fighting
I'm not a fan of JCC jnr nor do I think he legitimately made 154 for his last fight but because he is who he is,he can get away with it. He has power,an awesome left hook but he is there to be beaten. Someone with lateral movement can beat him easy.Celaya was beating him standing there with pitty patty punches,so he can be outworked.Someone who can take his power would beat him too imo. Put him in there with "Perro", Alfredo Angulo and he gets eaten alive.![]()
I hope he and Ronald Hearns fight this year. Hearns is chomping at the bit to get some notice, missing out on the Malignaggi undercard last month because of an injury (I think). He's ready and is pretty much waiting on his management to make it happen.
