I swear they are so F'IN desperate at times for the next big thing they forget to make sure all the little things aren't broken with it before sending it out on display...Lee is a decent kid and hopefully he can comeback and re-group fix what is broken and move on but this is more a shame on his team rather then him
I'd never seen him before tonight but I'm guessing one of the main reasons he was so hyped is because Emmanuel Stewered is his trainer and hypes him at every opportunity.
Guys like Lee and Cintron's profiles improved massively imo on the back of having a legendary trainer who also just happens to be a sports commentator on the world's premier boxing sports network :detective:

Excellent work, Det. Hobbit. The next case to solve is why I have herpes on my dick and Michal Buffer has suddenly lost his voice.
GET TO WORK. lol.
Great upset by the way! I loved every minute of it. Seein a hard workin, tuff guy like Vera pull it out against Stewart's hottest prospect. I LOVED IT.

Re: Another Exposure!!!!!!!
I don't think its a case of exposure, lee made the fight tougher for himself. He was flat footed and should of just jabbed brian off but instead he wanted to stay and trade with the heavier brawler that has just came down from a higher division.
Lee won every round til the last and the stoppage was horrible. Lee threw the harder punch but he was the one tko'ed WTF!? I can understand if the ref stopped it when Lee was really hurt earlier in the round when he stop throwing back, but when the ref did was when he shouldn't have. Lee look to have recover and actually stunned brian back.
Re: Another Exposure!!!!!!!
The Katsidis exposure comes tomorrow.

You were crying that you only had been bad rep once. So I decided to help you out. If anything you owe me.
Re: Another Exposure!!!!!!!
Again...A Knockdown does not automatically =Truly Hurt. The ones that stay up and absorb it can be hurt just as bad if not more.
Good stoppage Imo.Lee was not moving Vera but being moooved himself mentally and physically.

Daxx I agree with some parts of your post.
Other parts is more of looking at it from another angle...
I know and understand the 'hype' part of it. We've seen it happen time and time again. Most recently with Joel Julio (BUT his loss to Carlos has know since then been 'axed' as a loss to a good boxer)
Anyway my point being that loosing in this manner right now can be seen as being exposed, found, being a fraud etc. etc. etc.
Daxx, I to Am tired of hype that surronds certain fighters early in their careers. I've talked about this before but I learned my lesson with 'Panchito' Bojado when I swore up and down the Pacific Coast Line that he'd be a champ by 2006 and would reign supreme for many years to come. I preached the Bojado Gospel from his 1st all the way up until his loss to Leija. From that fighter forth I promised that I would no longer hype up fighter with less then 20-25 fights depending on quality of oppositon among other things.
Lees got talent and he's shown it in the ring. Even tonight when he lost he showed that he has tools. I can def. see Lee coming back from this.
Guess my point is that I wouldn't call this 'Exposure' cause I think Lee just had a bad night. If you check one of my posts from today I just posted that I thought Lee would loose to someone who moved well and Vera did. Lee couldn't find him but Vera did...
Let's not forget how many fighters have lost early in their careers and have bounced back to become champions and even ATG.
Hopkins, Alexis, The Marquez Bros., Carlos De Leon etc. etc. the list is endless.

From being touted as the next great middleweight champion of the world to getting KTFO by a first round Contender KO victim.........you can't get any more exposed than that ;)

Nope I never bought the hype as this was the first time I ever saw him. Didn't even know what he looked like before today much less whether he was any good.
He sucked, reminded me a lot of that Aussie prospect in physical appearance Daniel Geale. He sucks too.
Re: Another Exposure!!!!!!!
Exposure? No. Bullshit stoppage. Lee was having a bad night, but he was still even or slightly winning the fight. You don't stop a fight when somebody is still throwing back. It's not like Vera was dominating Lee all night. This was crap. I'm saying Lee isn't perhaps a bit overhyped, but if Steve Smoger has been in charge, the fight would have continued. These two will have a rematch and Vera will be outcold, on the canvas within 3 rounds. Shame on Lee for not bringing his A game, but this could have been a FOTY candidate and the pussy-ass ref robbed us of that. It just sucked.
