FightFan: Freddie, what do you think about how their strengths match up? I’ve seen you hitting the mitts with Oscar and you hit the mitts with Manny all the time. How do you feel they size up to one another in that regard?
FreddieRoach: Manny hits much harder. There’s no doubt about it. We have the advantage when it comes to the punch and there’s no doubt about that in my mind. We’ve also got the edge in activity and speed and Oscar, well he can’t pull the trigger anymore.

As PAC's trainer, we expect Freddie to favor PAC but it's also fact that Freddie has the authority to assess both boxers' power since he was able to hold the mitts infront of these 2 boxers...
When Freddie was doing it for Hoya, it's years ago so it's also expected that Hoya's power further diminishes (compared to what Freddie felt years ago) due to aging while that of PAC still growing stronger...
It's reported that Victor Ortiz is currently sparring with Hoya and there were even rumours that Ortiz was mauling Hoya in sparring. Ortiz is also said to have sparred with PAC in the past and PAC is holding his own against the bigger Ortiz...
Ortiz is now a GBP boxer (formerly Top Rank). I hope he can proclaim that "Hoya hits harder than PAC" to even things up...

If you actually believe that Freddie is not going to be biased, then you truly are delusional. Wait. Everyone already knows that to be the case.
Why bring up the Ortiz crap again, when it's already been discussed, and proven to be false. That rumor was started even before Oscar started sparring.

Well I won't say Freddie is telling the truth and I won't say he's lying... We will have the answer to this come December 6...
I brought up Ortiz since he's the only common factor between PAC and Hoya (of course aside from Freddie who knows DelaHoya and PAC very well ;) )...
Ortiz sparred with PAC in the past and currently sparring with Hoya... Hoya is Ortiz' big boss so I hope he'll say some morale boosting words of support for his boss...

It won't be depressing for PAC fans if he loses this fight. PAC is expected to loss this fight so no big deal really...
But how sweet it is for PAC fans if PAC will do the unthinkable and defeats the giant Hoya? It will be a maddening celebration... ;D

I usually have family and friends over for major boxing matches but ALL Pacquiao fights are held at my house. If Pac gets knocked out, I will have the most depressed house in the history of sports. EVERYONE that comes to my place are all Pacquiao fans and my friends are of all different nationalities, just in case people think we're all a bunch of Filipinos.
This Pac vs Hoya fight will be EPIC at my place because we will be filled to capacity! I need to get a damn Keg, for a damn fight! I always said to people that I was setting up a funeral for our favorite fighter. But if he pulls it off, my place will be nuts!

The first Pacquiao vs Marquez fight made my family go nuts. At first we lost our minds the first round, then throughout each round, we were all like "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" Then my dad and uncles started yelling at Manny on what to do through the TV.
I always thought people who gave instructions via yelling at the TV were dumbasses. THEY CAN'T HEAR YOU! But then the more I became a sports fan, the more I started to do the same...I think sometimes, it does work..
