Morales is coming back!

Erik Morales' Return is Likely For August in Tijuana - Boxing News

I dont think this comeback will be sucessful but Id like to see him go out on a win. I think Barrera - Morales 4 is in the works for early next year . By then both will be even further down the road than they already are but that still makes for a competative match.

Ideally Id like to see Morales at lightweight not light welter but realistically I see him having a couple of warm ups then getting beaten in a high profile fight. I was always pro Barrera but have come to respect Morales. Great fighter!!

Maybe Morales should fight the "Tijuana BREEZE" and give him a boxing lesson.:cool:

EM is one of my favourite fighters and it is sad to see him not know when to quit. Another Holyfield. I will support him throughout but wonder if he needs the money.

i was always a big EM fan, but by the look of the pics he shouldnt be coming back

he doesn't need the money, he has a government position job, running the sports and recreation centers and organizations in Tijuana and he works for free, cause he donates his salary to help fund the organization, he still manages and promotes fighters in Mexico, has his own boxing magazine, so seriously doubt he's strapped for cash

I see.

I think he see Manny, who he beat, having all this success lately and he probably believes that he can still have his share of success too. I dont want to see him fight ever again. He is a legend and has done it all. Hes been away too long and his body type wouldnt carry more weight well imo and above 135 he would be in trouble. I do think he should have had a win in his last fight vs. Diaz, but still that is in the past and a couple years is a long time for an already ring old fighter to come back.
