Maybe he wants to come back for financial reason.
Maybe he wants to come back for financial reason.
he doesn't need the money, he has a government position job, running the sports and recreation centers and organizations in Tijuana and he works for free, cause he donates his salary to help fund the organization, he still manages and promotes fighters in Mexico, has his own boxing magazine, so seriously doubt he's strapped for cash
I can only think of one boxer who can comeback and still expect an excellent result. Lennox Lewis, say yes.
This is no Lennox, but Erik Morales is entitled to his opinion, and that is that the David Diaz fight result did him injustice.
He is only 32? Correct me. Can still bang it IMO. Do a Barrera and box. Do away with slugging it out Erik, and we shall see "the" proper send out!
Morales (healthy) vs Marquez is one match that got away. Can this still find fruition without being a health hazard?
Respecting the shelf life of HOF but brittle boxers such as....these two, JMM and Erik (if this match is a possibilty), then perhaps in a very minor way, the PBF vs JMM is wrong for this account.

no prob, i believe they also mentioned it on one of Chavez Jr's cards, and showed Morales in the crowd and everyone went nuts, IMO let him have one comeback fight, for two reasons, for him to go out on a win, or to see if the break did him some good, i highly doubt it and don't want to see him get hurt, but well he's a grown man and knows what he's doing
Thought he was going into fight promotions? Just don't see it ending well. One of the best of a generation, much appreciation/respect, but a return 'tune up' win here means it only gets more high level risky next time out
I think he see Manny, who he beat, having all this success lately and he probably believes that he can still have his share of success too. I dont want to see him fight ever again. He is a legend and has done it all. Hes been away too long and his body type wouldnt carry more weight well imo and above 135 he would be in trouble. I do think he should have had a win in his last fight vs. Diaz, but still that is in the past and a couple years is a long time for an already ring old fighter to come back.
