Floyd had won the mental game by not going down and by pressing Mosley even when hurt.
Mosley never had anyone he hurt with a shot start forcing action against him that was faster. Also Floyd started consistently throwing a jab in Mosley's face.
Mosley did what judah did, saw he had Mayweather and then shot his load just like Floyd wanted him to, once he endured it and started pressing Mosley NOT giving him the time off which im sure Mosley expected. Mosley expected if he hurt Floyd and shot his load that Floyd would run and give him time to regain himself so he could come on late. Floyd instead pressed him and pressured him so Mosley could never get that break he thought he would and from that point on Floyd broke him down.
It's kind of like racing against someone and feeling your sides hurt but you see them fall down so you press harder to run to get further ahead and then you slow down figuring they are so far behind they won't catch you, but then you see them running up behind you twice as fast. Tortoise and the Hare.
A Mosley in his prime wasn't as smart as the Mosley of today. He was more wreckless and relied more on talents and didn't have the same patience he has now. Shane fought this fight good rather then trying the double jab buggy thing he is known for, he tried timing Floyd, a younger Mosley would have tried to double jab right hand Mayweather and been countered more imo.
