I don't think it should happen, with Margarito's eye the result will be the same. Its a questionable win over a legitimate win. Don't want to see Margarito get another big payday the man doesn't deserve it he needs to retire before he ends up blind. But knowing Bob Arum he might just con people into a third fight.Quote:

And it was a decent fight, no where near as good as the first but very watchable
If Margarito didn't have the Eye Injury could it have been a different fight? He does tend to turn it up in the later rounds and Cotto was beginning to stop and trade more and moreQuote:

I was rooting for Miguel Cotto but i also had an axious feeling, when watching the fight because i felt Antonio Margarito could start getting to him. But his punches didn't have the same effect and everyone can make there own mind up about that.
Margarito is finished. He can't go on any longer with that eye.
Yesterday was a sad night.. He can always tell his grandkids and he made a prime undefeated Cotto quit on his knees though, that's a big accomplishment right there.
Last night's loss dont even mean much considering the the state of his health...
Meh, people are making more out of the eye than it was even imo. Not in terms of health wise for Margarito, but as far as the effect it had on the outcome last night... Tony wasn't landing all that much at all in the early going as he did (which people seem to forget) in their first fight and actually had arguably his best round in the 9th when it was swollen shut. Fact is the guy has lost a step and with pressure fighters like that it's usually all it takes before they are Tofu.
Margarito is a cheater, an ass, and worst of all... a shot fighter.
I'm not sure why anyone would have interest in Cotto-Margarito III. Cotto should move on to other opponents at 154, and Margarito should just go away.
