David Haye: I am with the board's consensus!
The consensus that he has ducked Tyson Fury and that he truly is afraid of losing to Tyson Fury.
Haye has been in the game too long to have just under 30 fights even. He has been a pro since 2002 and has 28 fights. Fury and Chisora have been in the game since at least 2008 and they have over 22 wins, Chisora with 24 and Fury with 22.
I think Haye fought Chisora because Chisora's style was tailor made for Haye. Short, little punching power and a little bit of a brawler. Fury would have presented more of a challenge with the height and a bit more power on top of a little bit of hand speed.
Haye doesn't want to fight anyone of any consequence. He "says" he wants another title shot, but has never responded to the call to fight Vitali and he doesn't seem to be making a lot of noise to fight Wlad again. So, what is it?
Haye is out of the game, effectively. It's pretty much a wrap and we won't see him in any "meaningful" fight against any top European or American prospect ever again.
It's effectively over. Besides, he said he wanted out by the time he was 30. So, let him go...

Haye is a businessman first. It sucks. As boxing fans we all hate that. But it would make no sense as a businessman to go into a big money fight with an injury as a loss would pretty much end it for him.
Have some common sense.

He fought Wlad with an injury and lost , why would he fight again with an injury ? and as been pointed out with the cut he had the BBBC would not have let him box fury.
Re: David Haye: I am with the board's consensus!
whats your definition of the boards consensus?
Re: David Haye: I am with the board's consensus!
Haye would SLAUGHTER Fury. I don't like Haye, but at least he has talent fury is just big.....that's all I've seen of him. Big, awkward, not very powerful, wide loopy punches, easy to hit.....he's a Pikey Mariusz Wach....probably minus the roids and the Mac Tonite chin, but that's his level.

Losing to Wlad with an injury was only embarrassing because of all the shit he talked beforehand... Losing to Fury is downright humiliating...

Yeah, nothing to do with dropping to all fours so many times the ref takes a point away and running away the entire fight. Nothing to do with that;)
Furys new team mate gave Wlad a hell of a better fight than that! Even threw the big gimp on the floor;D
Re: David Haye: I am with the board's consensus!
.....teammate?
Yeah Fury is going to need one when/if he fights Wlad
Re: David Haye: I am with the board's consensus!
Haye will return, he said if his shoulder is even 85% as good he will fight again. I could see him fight Fury should he win.

He'd be screwing if Chisora did beat Fury and got a fight with Wlad especially as he's already spanked Chisora.
Fuck it he'd be screwing whoever wins if they do get a crack at Wlad.
Haye would normally be extremely vocal about now and especially seeing as they've both fought over the weekend.
Maybe his injury really is a bad one like he says after all and thats why?
If he's in anyway close to fighting fit around May time then expect him to start piping up and sticking his beak into the equation big time ;)
I
Dyou mean "spewing"?
