Exactly. Why would David Haye, who went to fight Valuev & Wlad as the away fighter and went to fight the #1 Cruiserweight in the world is his back yard be scared to fight a guy who has been decked on numerous occasions by non-punchers with Haye's best punch?

Haye is a businessman first. It sucks. As boxing fans we all hate that. But it would make no sense as a businessman to go into a big money fight with an injury as a loss would pretty much end it for him.

    Have some common sense.

He fought Wlad with an injury and lost , why would he fight again with an injury ? and as been pointed out with the cut he had the BBBC would not have let him box fury.

Haye would SLAUGHTER Fury. I don't like Haye, but at least he has talent fury is just big.....that's all I've seen of him. Big, awkward, not very powerful, wide loopy punches, easy to hit.....he's a Pikey Mariusz Wach....probably minus the roids and the Mac Tonite chin, but that's his level.

Losing to Wlad with an injury was only embarrassing because of all the shit he talked beforehand... Losing to Fury is downright humiliating...

Yeah, nothing to do with dropping to all fours so many times the ref takes a point away and running away the entire fight. Nothing to do with that

Furys new team mate gave Wlad a hell of a better fight than that! Even threw the big gimp on the floor

Ross missing the point yet again, I never said he lost because of the toe... I said 'with' not 'due to'.
Haye was undersized and still went the distance, something nobody had done with Wlad for years.

Yes he bit of more than he could chew and had to use cheap tactics at times to survive. But it was only REALLY embarrassing because of the shit talking (fury take note).

He was willing to fight the division's elite with a minor injury because they are worth something... Fury isn't

Even if Haye were to come back, who would negotiate with him knowing his record of pulling out of fights?

The key is to always have a Plan B if the fight doesn't go through....difficult for most fighters to do, but given Haye's history it is a must. Set a firm time limit and have a fallback plan, that's the only way to make it happen.

Fury is just a well protected monster of a man. He clubs fighters down, but is wild and clumsy, when he meets someone who can punch harder than he can, he will be in trouble and will get sparked out.

If he's lucky, that fighter will be Wlad.

I don't think Haye pulled out because of fear, I think it was an injury, genuinely.
