Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
Hahahahahaha hahahahahaha
He isn't following doctors orders but he is healing lightning fast. Is anyone surprised? The injury was just another lie. Watch them line Rios up again so Manny can look "back" and people will line up to believe the hype again.
Re: Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
I thought that Floyd fighting Berto originally might just be to set up a rematch with Pacquiao in some way, but now that fights apparently PPV I kind of doubt it. Hope Pacquiao takes a challenge if he does fight on another route, it would be awesome to see him in a crossroads fight with a Brook or Thurman, I'm more interested in those guys fighting him than Floyd.

It was all nonsense, the story changed about 20 times.
Never bought it. Look at Pac when he flurried on Mayweather against the ropes: that's a guy without the use of his right shoulder? Come on.

I agree with you, Floyd is a great fighter who turns fights into boring affairs. I can't say anything against the way Floyd fights except that it's boring. I would much rather see Manny against Thurman or Brook. Either one of these fights would be more exciting to watch than another Floyd vs Manny II. IMO.
Re: Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
No one is actually surprised by this right...?!!
Manny -- phony as a winner -- on PEDs
Manny -- phony as a loser -- faked injury
Re: Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
Pac vs Brook
Only fight I wanna see Manny in!
Funny enough I havent seen anyone mention this yet.
Re: Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
Come on guys. He obviously is just healing fast. It's just a coincidence that he had a short period of time when he was scared of needles. It's not that weird.

Manny of yesteryear would not have just stopped punching like he did. It would have been a hundred punches in the round and not a breather. Manny was clearly a different fighter to the one we are used to seeing and it was either age or injury. Manny has a lot of questions to answer if he wants to continue his career. If he could beat up someone like Thurman it would say a lot. If he gets beaten up by Thurman then it would say a lot too. Manny has to be in a meaningful fight and a Rios type comeback simply wouldn't cut it now. Manny has to prove he deserves a rematch and that means showing the eye of the tiger.

A fighters output tends to correlate with how good the guy they are fighting is. Manny hasn't thrown much more than he did against Floyd in years!
Re: Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
What amazes me is that all you mayweather minions trying to demean Pac's performance on May 2 choose to forget your idol Floyd's pathetic performance. He tasted one shot from Pac was stunned the got on his bike. Floyd ran like a biotch the held like a limpet. Floyd refused to engage a seriously injured opponent. He was bragging claiming he was " Going to come out aggressive & go for a KO " ROFLMAO He ran like a bitch. That's the thing he knows that as long as he's standing at the final bell in Vegas he'll get the decision

There was no reason why Manny could not have thrown more and outhustled Floyd with output. Mayweather wasn't so great that Maidana didn't throw any punches and yet Manny threw something like 30 punches a round. Is Maidana that much better than Manny or was Manny injured or shot? The thing with the Pac fight is that Floyd stunk almost as much as Manny.
Re: Arum now saying Manny could fight in 2015
Floyd v Manny was two old losers fighting one another well past their sell by date getting grossly overpaid for the most boring fight in history.
They want to do part 2 and need a story to justify the con.
The end.

Of course. Actually I don't think the Manny of yesteryear would have had to keep punching, because the initial left hand would have knocked Floyd out cold!
What happened is Floyd signed to fight Manny with no intention of fighting him - he was going to fake an injury and pull out. But unbeknownst to Manny and his camp, Dashon Johnson and Floyd are very good friends from years back. So one day Floyd gets a call.
DASHON: Yo money, I think you got this fight brah.
FLOYD: What do you mean? There's no way I'm getting in the ring with Pac. He's just too strong, too fast. He'd destroy me. I'm going to fake an injury and then set up a rematch with Robert Guerrero for later this year.
DASHON: Listen Floyd, we both know - hell, the whole boxing world knows - what a compete coward you are, and how you never fight anyone good, but I'm telling you Pac's right shoulder is so fucked up he couldn't bust a grape right now. It's actually so fucked up, he can't throw a good left hand either for some reason.
FLOYD: Really?? An opponent injured and past his prime... that sounds like my kind of fight!
And the rest is history.
