Do you know what, I read this last night and had similar thoughts .
But I reckon GGG started wanting to be complimentary, and some of it was lost in translation. Then I think the reporter got mischievous asking questions about Groves Dropping him in sparring, and he took the bait a little bit.
Tbf , its common knowledge that he broke Groves's rib in sparring.
Groves is a powderpuff puncher. With his ego I bet he loved reading that :D
Dunno about Powder puff? Froch must have a serious Glass Jaw. 😉
Or Golovkin is made of granite (he said Groves lacks power not me :))
No problem, you're not the only one.
Ha.
GGG would probably beat all the super middleweight champions, now that Ward has left, and it would be good for him to it once he beat Canelo.
yes it looks that way
he hasn't had a massive fight yet though has he? beating contenders who hadn't really excelled themselves in terms of the premier league
his last one was probably his biggest but you wouldn't call it elite
reckon there could be weaknesses if he got into a fight?
IBF & WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin has said he's "ready" for a unification fight against England's Billy Joe Saunders.
Saunders won the WBO version of the middleweight title against Andy Lee in December 2015, defeating the Irishman by majority decision.
In October 2015, Golovkin beat David Lemieux in an eighth-round stoppage to add the IBF middleweight title to his WBA belt.
The Kazakh fighter's win in New York was his 34th victory in the professional ranks, and could have a fight against WBC belt holder Saul Alvarez on the radar.

GGG needs to move up to 168 imo. I understand that it's not his fault 160 sucks, but it does. James DeGale would give him a good fight, Andre Dirrell probably also has the style to cause him problems. The guy is only easy to hit if you're willing to trade with him, his feet and balance are excellent.
Does anyone pick a guy at 168 over Golovkin? Just curious, I really can't see it myself. DeGale would be a really good fight probably, I'd love to see GGG move up and take a real fight.
