Should Taylor be #1 P4P if he beats Winky?

If he beats Winky, I think that Taylor should be #1 P4P. Two wins over Hopkins and one over Wright should catapult him up the list. PBF did beat Judah, and even though I think he still is the best boxer out there, I don't think that he has done enough in terms of competition to warrant being #1 P4P. He should be a close #2. But Taylor winning is a big if, I still see him KOing Winky though.

Yes. That's just my opinion but if he does....yes. Time to give the guy some credit. I know a lot hate how he beat B-Hop....but he did win and he hasn't gotten his due imo. If he takes this one, or even makes it close, then he's got to get his credit.

HELL NO!!! He aint come close to dominating the Middleweight division. Wright dominated 154 for YEARS and then cemented it with a move up and beat Trinidad. Winky deserves his spot at number 2. People like Barerra and Pacquiao deserve number 1 p4p before Jermain even cracks the top 5!

cc. It depends how impressive Taylor would look. I can't see him passing Mayweather for the top spot unless he puts on some miracle type performance. A convincing win though will get him top 3.

As much as I moan about Floyds recent flight selection, hes also undefeated , was a LEGIT champ at 2 weights and beat Castillo, Coralles, Casamayor, Judah among other good fighters. Id put him 4th if he wins, but only because I have a soft spot for Calderon who I have ranked 4th at the mo. Winky doesnt drop out the top 5.

The only reason I put him in front of Mayweather is his willingness to fight, I think that fight pickin snobbery will be Mayweather's downfall.

When he wins I think he is top 5 easy. How he wins will determine where in the top 5.

PBF is #1 hands down....I'd give Taylor the #2 p4p if he beat Winky.....but that ain't goin to happen.....

I don't think Taylor will win,but if that happen I would put him #3 on my list. Yes he does have two close wins over B-HOP,IMO he lost first fight,second fight was close I could see going eather way. Anyway if he beats Winky big time,I will give him respect but will not consider him P4P #1.

if he wins convincinlgy he would just barely make it in the top 5

I don't think so until Mayweather has a close fight against somebody.

Barrera has more longevity than any other cative fighter today . Winky is his closest rival but I dont believe hes won as many superfights as Marco and he hasnt conquered 3 divisions. Barrera made his name moving up weights and beating the best. Winky has been beating guys smaller than him . Floyd would be deserving of a number 3 spot cuz hes unbeaten and moving through the weights . Pac would be around 4 but even if Taylor beats Winky he barely makes top 5

Ok people p4p doesnt work like this. If you beat mayweather then you dont get the number 1 spot. You have to prove yourself worthy...you could just have one good night against a good fighter and then never do anything good again. You have to earn it and you dont earn it by beating one top 5 p4p fighter.

I suppose Talyor would have beaten two arguable number 1 p4p fighters back to back . first B- Hop then Winky
