riddick bowe vs. andrew golota
i just watch a match between these two-the one where andrew golota was DQ for low blow and a riot broke out
and i just wanted to ask
was this the first fight or the second fight?
and i kno that andrew was DQ twice and what was that Dq for?
Re: riddick bowe vs. andrew golota
The riot happened in the first fight. Golota was DQ'ed for low blows in both fights. They were both good fights, but I think the second fight was better

2nd fight was better 1st 4 rounds were a war after 4th round Golota pretty much put a beat down on Bowe but i think Bowe had Golota in 4th round but Golota threw multiple low blows and and zapped Bowe's strength and Golota got massive rest.

Thats how you do it son. Go down with the ship. I picked Mayorga vs. Delahoya and caught massive $hit for it, but he is my favorite fighter and I wasn't about to go against him. I'm pickin him against Vargas too, and he will kick Vargas's ass. CC for bein a loyal fan.

Re: riddick bowe vs. andrew golota
Bowe and Golota should box again.
Re: riddick bowe vs. andrew golota
Golota seems to be returning to form, Bowe is bordering on obese...Actually mayb they should box again, Bowes Belly is hangin down so far that Golotas low blows will be seen as bodyshots.

it would be a real slugfest as there that old (that said im 37) they wouldnt be able to move to much so would stand in the middle of the ring bashing the hell out of each other. wonder what odds youd get on BIG DADDY winning by disqualification due to low blows.

HeHe itd be a long shot, but probably worth a couple of Yo-Yos.
Would u believe last year i met a cousin of Golota.
His English was worse than my Polish but i still understood:
"You no the man Golota?.................He Crazy."
Re: riddick bowe vs. andrew golota
i wouldnt even try to speak polish eventhough theres about ten million of them working in liverpool at the moment.
Re: riddick bowe vs. andrew golota
Spent a good 5 months working with just Polish n Russian guys, they took their time, but when they kinda accepted me they were very nice n friendly.
Mostly picked up swearwords and slang terms, i cant say or understand much, Russian is kinda-a little bit-like the Irish language so i can understand tiny bits there 2.

Yup . I love talking heavyweights with you ;D
In the 1st fight . Bowe was getting owned but he was able to take Goltas punches
In the second fight he came in with spaghetti legs and in round 2 a right hand to the temple dropped him . It looked over but in the 4th Bowe got Golota with an overhand right and as he fell forward got in his honey punch the right uppercut . Golota came back in the 5th and unloaded on Bowe on the ropes who fell forward . Then Bowe was pretty much on the receiving end until Golota got himself D.Q'd . Its still one of my favourite heavyweight fights

Bowe looked so weak in the 2nd fight didn't he lose 50 pounds in like 6 weeks or 8 weeks or something like that ?? all i know is that them punches wouldn't of even moved Bowe in his prime even that left hook from Holyfield that decked Bowe in there rubber match wouldn't of even done much to him in his prime.

Yeah Barry said after the fight that its shocking the way Bowe has depreciatred as a fighter . Ive never known a fighter who rapidly declined in ability like Bowe did . He seemd to have aged 10 years between the two fights. He just seemed like he was wunning on empty . No strength or anything . The prime Bowe ( From the 1st Holyfield fight ) could take a shot and come straight back . But this version seemed punch drunk .
The first signs were as you say against Evander in the 3rd fight . A left hook from an ex cruiser had him badly shaken and floored . His chin staretd to leave him cuz before that you couldnt even rock Bowe . Problem is he ate his money after the 1st Evander fight . Im almsot certain Lennox Lewis would have blew him away. I d have loved to have seen Tyson - Bowe also . Maybe even Bowe - Moorer . Evander is the only one to fight all of those guys and to think he is still going strong today , even fighting for the heavyweight title this weekend .
