I think this is an outstanding fight if it goes through. Darchinyan seems to want to stay active, Good for him. I see this fight as a set up to Darchinyan-Donaire 2. Since Donaire is suppose to face Luis Maldonado on the same card.
The winner will face Dimitri Kirilov in March. I guess we will have to wait for the rematch with Donaire.
based on vic's performance against catubay, he will have his hands and his face full of gorres. man, i want to see this fight already.
Z gorres is going to be another hard one for darchinyan. I won't be suprise if vic gets rock again and again, he could be doing the chicken dance again ;D
Uhh.. Vic you couldnt beat Donaire and now you want Gorres??? Gorres is gonna punish him, because he is a better boxer and doesnt have Donaires power. Brutal win for Gorres, Vic should get busted up pretty good.

Vic had some problems with Catubay.... he will have more against Z Gorres. However, I'm predicting a win by Vic here.
Gorres has a tendency to crumble under pressure especially at the later rounds. Can he withstand the kind of pressure that Vic is going to put on him for 12 full rounds? I have my doubts, but Gorres has surprised us couple of times with his surprisingly good performance so I won't totally count him out for this fight.
I give Gorres a very good chance. But I think his chin will let him down. Montiel had Gorres holding on for dear life. And Darchinyan is a much bigger puncher than Montiel.Quote:

According to Z Gorres' manager, no one has approached them for a fight with VD.
Montiel Gorres was a good scrap, it was a close fight but montiel did hurt gorres more and gorres did held on too much. I do think vic can punch harder but montiel is more accurate, it'll depend if vic can land one on gorres like how montiel was landing. but if gorres catches vic first, we'll know montiel had a better chin.Quote:
