Vic to fight Z. Gorres Dec 1

Vic Darchinyan looks set to fight Z. Gorres on the undercard of whoever Tarver fights on December 1st (Danny Green)?
It's being billed as a IBF eliminator, Vic will have his hands full with Gorres.

I think this is an outstanding fight if it goes through. Darchinyan seems to want to stay active, Good for him. I see this fight as a set up to Darchinyan-Donaire 2. Since Donaire is suppose to face Luis Maldonado on the same card.

I give Gorres a very good chance. But I think his chin will let him down. Montiel had Gorres holding on for dear life. And Darchinyan is a much bigger puncher than Montiel.

I seen Gorres fight at the Sacramento World cup of boxing event, and he is a good defensive fighter, he's real hard to hit and quick. I got to meet him too and shook his hand too, nice guy. I say Gorres is gonna light him up, less he get caught with a big one late or something.

Montiel Gorres was a good scrap, it was a close fight but montiel did hurt gorres more and gorres did held on too much. I do think vic can punch harder but montiel is more accurate, it'll depend if vic can land one on gorres like how montiel was landing. but if gorres catches vic first, we'll know montiel had a better chin.
