I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Jay Nady is a total ass! I find something really annoying about him! I like Cortez,but I'm not sure how much he'll let Hatton hold. Anyone know any fights involving lots of holding with Joe as ref? What was his reaction?

Cortez likes to break up fighters pretty quickly so already thats disadvantage for Hatton.

Anything but Jay Nady. What a relief.

Cortez did the Hatton-Castillo fight. He knows Hatton.

I agree with you guys about Nady. No point in Hatton turning-up if he was appointed. We already know how much he loves Floyd, tells him before fights ::** And always stands out for me is his reffing of Eastman-Joppy. The fight ended up being Eastman vs Joppy and Nady.

He also ref'd Mayweather v Castillo II, he did well with that fight too. Good choice in my opinion.

Oh crap,yeah,Nady is cool with Hatton,this is a good thing.I know this may sound stupid but I also think the ring size is going to be very important. If it's one of those really big ass rings,Hatton's chances of cutting it off,cornering Mayweather are REALLY slim. He needs to try to get one of the smaller rings.

And I'm glad to see other Nady haters ;D :D I think he's awful and a cock sucker with regards to some boxers. And I HATE that dam stupid salute he does.

He's the worst high profile referee I've seen. For someone who loves breaking up fighters, he sure fucked up with Barrera-Marquez...which was the final straw for me. I had Marquez winning, but Barrera's superb straight right could have turned the fight. Yes, Barrera shouldn't have punched Marquez while he was down, but Nady was late in stepping in. He just stood there for like 2 seconds staring at the situation in front of him, and then jumped in. To not call that a knockdown and to dock Barrera a point pretty much sealed Marco's fate in that fight, and ruined what was a close fight up until then.

So Gamo, you right, Nady sucks cock.

Oh hatton could really be in trouble now. Cortez doesnt like holding, i hope hatton has a gameplan other than wearing pbf down by holding.

I'd be more confident if it was Mickey Vann but heyho Cortez is a great choice.

I'm hardly the only guy to pick the wrong man to win a fight, but in this case I see no way Hatton can win. I'll gladly take abuse should Hatton win; I'll be too happy if he does and too busy changing my profile and handing out CC's to pay attention to the verbal abuse being given to me. ;D

It might be close; it's a fight and you never know. I think it will appear close until Floyd decides it's time to finish the race. Hatton's desire and will to win are admirable and necessary traits for champs to have, but he'll be lucky to not get put to sleep or have the ref stop this fight.

I can see Hatton taking a few of the earlier rounds until Floyd gets going and i reckon it will be close going into about the 8th. I think a lot depends on who the momentum is with going into the last 4 rounds.....and i think the momentum will be in Floyd's favour unfortunately.
