I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Jay Nady is a total ass! I find something really annoying about him! I like Cortez,but I'm not sure how much he'll let Hatton hold. Anyone know any fights involving lots of holding with Joe as ref? What was his reaction?

I agree with you guys about Nady. No point in Hatton turning-up if he was appointed. We already know how much he loves Floyd, tells him before fights And always stands out for me is his reffing of Eastman-Joppy. The fight ended up being Eastman vs Joppy and Nady.

Oh crap,yeah,Nady is cool with Hatton,this is a good thing.I know this may sound stupid but I also think the ring size is going to be very important. If it's one of those really big ass rings,Hatton's chances of cutting it off,cornering Mayweather are REALLY slim. He needs to try to get one of the smaller rings.

And I'm glad to see other Nady haters I think he's awful and a cock sucker with regards to some boxers. And I HATE that dam stupid salute he does.

He's the worst high profile referee I've seen. For someone who loves breaking up fighters, he sure fucked up with Barrera-Marquez...which was the final straw for me. I had Marquez winning, but Barrera's superb straight right could have turned the fight. Yes, Barrera shouldn't have punched Marquez while he was down, but Nady was late in stepping in. He just stood there for like 2 seconds staring at the situation in front of him, and then jumped in. To not call that a knockdown and to dock Barrera a point pretty much sealed Marco's fate in that fight, and ruined what was a close fight up until then.
