I am not a fan of this oafy such-n-such!
Does he have a single fan that is not blood related?!
I want to see him get KTFO as soon as possible. I'd send Rhun in to do the job if he's up for it.
Tye Fields...

Tye Fields...
There was always this guy: http://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfor...itle-shot.html
Except for the clear possibility that he really was Tye Fields and I guess that wouldn't count
Mark my words. Within a year he will hold the prestigious IBA World Heavyweight title.
I'm not a fan of him, but I don't hate the guy. If he becomes champ they should just do away with the heavyweight division altogether. ;D I am an optimist though, so I would recommend getting him a different trainer that can show him how to throw good punches. Arum was saying he punches better now...not really they aren't very straight or accurate. Also his feet are flopping all over. I would actually like to see Fields vs. Valuev that would be the biggest heavyweight fight, in terms of size of opponents.
The guy is really sloppy the times i've seen him, but arum says he's different now and is giving us a warning the same way he did pavlik so we'll just have to see. Personally just off what i've seen of him i don't think he'll amount to much.....i wish him well though.
Tye is a big clumsey oaf...with zero ability but great work rate not only for a man his size but fighter over 160 period...I think for a while he was averaging 100 punches per round...that part is impressive....Problem is he has almost no starch on those punches...but with that being said...he is harmless does not talk too much trash or make an idiot of himself on tv (other then when he fights)...He will fade the moment he gets KO'd...There are a 100 other fighters IMO that I rather see gone first...Tye does not seem all that bright either so this is the highlight of his life...leave the man something to look back upon
HA, Arum is big on this fella and he is good......good at knocking out hobos fighting with a day or two of training and getting paid in ham sandwiches!
If Tye Fields was going to do something in this division he would have done it by now.
He'd be an impressive guy for David Haye to KO(due to shear size and his padded record) and not extremely dangerous or tricky.
Actually an interesting fight would be Tye Fields vs Audley Harrison....I hate both of them but you wonder who would win that one
Fields will conitnue being spoon fed opponents until they can work him into some sort of big money fight, in which he will no doubt be knocked out.
But he is just a big, nice guy who works hard. Just sucks at boxing. So I wish him the best, but I don't like watchin him fight cus he's not very good...at all.
...honestly I think it depends on who he fights and when. He could catch a really good fighter on a shitty day and surprise everyone.
I think Tye Fields vs Nicolay Valuev would be pretty close to tell you the truth....I know Fields fights like a dork but all it takes is one punch and being that he's a southpaw and roughly the same size as Nico then he may have a chance....it would be a spectacle to see though those mofo's are huge!
Fields is garbage. That's pretty obvious.
[B]I wonder if Arum is kinda losing his feel for things. He said Fields is ready for Klitschko?!?!? I doubt highly that that fight will ever happen because Tye lacks sound boxing skills and is raw at best. He would excel in Toughman contests but i think saying he is ready for the belt holders in the division is a bit much. At the risk of sounding crazy i can see him beating Sam Peter because Sam had trouble with McCline. i think Fields swings a little harder and is a little taller. I can actually see him beating Peter for sure. He would not Beat Klitschko because anyone who has a sound background would watch him swing his arms about and make him pay as he fully commits to his swing.
Tore into him last night watching that farce.Honestly.He seems like a decent dude...........Thats It.Timber Tye has "KO me" written all over him and It will happen soon. The promoters and the network should be smacked for Calling that a main event but Fields is being led to believe that he actually has a chance In the big time.Shame on Arum.
Well, I guess i don't really see it like that. I mean just because a fight with a mutual opponent went one way.. doesn't mean it will be the same for the other guy that fought the same guy.. I've seen guys that beat the hell out of one guy. They later fight a guy that lost to the guy they previously beat and get startched.. can you explain that? I mean, that's why they fight right? Styles make fights.. not statistics...
Perfect example.. Jameel McCline beat the piss outta Peter.. and McCline lost horribly to Klitschko. Peter knocked Wlad down 3 times.. alot closer fight than when McCline fought Wlad. Now honestly buddy.. You would have called McCline turfing Peter 3 times? Of course you wouldn't and thats why they fight.
Tye Fields punches like he is underwater, hes slow , easy to hit and makes guys like Tommy Morrison look like all time greats .
I am fully aware that McCline lost.. However i also i believe you know as well what my point is here: again, did you think that McCline would deck Peter 3 times? Do you know how close that fight was to being called off.. he was almost dropped a 3rd time. I think your avoiding my point.
I would love to see Wladdy emberass the shit out of him and Knock him the FUCK OUT!!
The one thing I wonder about this guy is why he hasn't increased the level of his opposition? Hasim Rahman, Eddie Chambers, Calvin Brock, etc are all out there and he's fighting Roderick Willis? I could see if he had only been fighting for a couple of years and had about 10-15 fights but he has been a pro since 1999 and had 41 fights under his belt when he took that fight.
I mean if he just wants to be a guy who fights than that is fine, but if he wants a title shot he should be looking to do more to get notice and get experience with decent competition. And he is not going to accomplish that by beating guys like Roderick Willis.
I really don't think that the Camp of Fields (at least if they are worth their salt anyhow) believe he will ever win a world title...IMO at first they figured with his size and work rate they could make something of him but it has become obvious he is as far as his skills will allow....So why not make money off the train while it last...I put him in a Peter McNeely catagory...Local celeb nothing more nothing less

LOL For a split second I saw that as Sam "Peter" and McNeely. ;D

LOL I don't think it would be safe for Tye to even spar with Sam Peter...
Unfortunately i think some specific promoter may be showing signs of dimentia.:-\
