margarito :D
i'd say anyone who has devastating power.. like Pavlik/Miranda as already stating..
determining feared fighters i'd say comes down to two different aspects.. they're either a hard as hell hitter.. or they have a chin of iron and have decent power..
when you think of it.. no one is afraid to fight Calzaghe because he isn't a power puncher.. no one is afraid to fight Mayweather, plenty of people want to fight him.. he is not an overly power fighter, even though he has spurts of high power with his accurate shots.. No one is afraid of Malignaggi even though he's lightning fast and a good boxer..
If you feel that you can exploit a weakness in an opponent without getting hurt too bad, then you probably won't be intimidated, as opposed to fighting a Pavlik or Miranda when you know they're just gonna stand in front of you and dish out a beating until they're floored and can't get up.
Nonito Donaire. He's been calling out 112-115 top dogs for a while now, but they keep turning him down.
In recent times, there's been one with the official title and it was the boogeyman Margaburrito. Ask Vargas,Mayorga,Floyd,Judah etc etc.;D Since then Williams was "feared" too(yeah scared of getting slapped to death, although he is a good fighter,he's nothing scary) and Clottey, the only reason people are scared of him is because he whines too much.
The fighters of today that really are intimidating are Cotto and Pavlik. Murderous punchers in different way.Intense. Cotto has scary staredown. Daisuke Naito is scary too,his style especially.
I'd say anyone who says they aren't scared of Wladimir Klitschko is a fucking liar.
Hey Lyle that was FUNNY man.......i been laughing bro.....LOLOL;D

I bet Peter isn't ;D
I'd say that anyone would fear getting hit by Klitschko, but knowing that he's been knocked down plenty before, if i was a heavyweight with a lot of power i'd be willing to take a stab at it knowing that i'd have a chance to knock him out..
Pavlik on the other hand, has been knocked down before and every time he got right back up from what i've seen.. especially that flurry by JT in their first fight.. Same with Miranda.. he took a lot of shots from Pavlik and still wanted to fight back.. When you have a fighter on the other side of the ring who is going to try to knock you out, before they get knocked out, then there is intimidation.. When you have Klitschko throwing jabs and afraid to throw a right at you, and you know he doesn't wanna brawl, then there is always hope.
This guy is not afraid...

...and I aint lying.
I thought that was Margarito? ;D
I'm not sure I could say Klitschko or Cotto because the way I see it, I would step into the ring with Cotto if it meant cashing a 6 figure check at the end of one night's work. This is a little different for champions but for a challenger, I don't think a challenger should ever be scared of a champion.
Cotto is a pretty though. So is Israel Vazquez and Mike Tyson in his early days has to take the cake of any fighter I've ever seen.
;D You really think Sultan is scared of Klitschko after he just got paddy caked for 12 rounds? Or Peter? Or Haye? I don't think Haye is scared one bit to be honest.

I would put Wlad K in there too. Sorry. Citron is scary too. I saw him destroy a guy. But for me Cotto and Pavlik really stick out. They bath have a jaw line that can cut stone and when they knock you out you think the words retirement before you think the words rematch. I can see why Floyd hasn't opened his mouth too much about Cotto. I think deep down Floyd respects him and could possibly fear him. I mean Jesus look at the guy.
If i was a super bantam i wouldn't go near both Marquez or Vazquez!
Both of those guys scare me!
I can't even believe you guys put WKlit in this list... I have been positive and enthusiastic about this group, but when you start adding in names like WK and Cintron... WHAT THE F***?!?!?
Name any person that WK has gone to with interest to fight that have turned him down.... Don't worry, I'll wait...
You are delusional if you think it is not the BIG KLIT who is scared to fight certain HW's... who made Shannon Briggs wait for almost six months before fighting Brock? I could go on, but I won't.
Cintron...? You mean the WW who has faced a strict diet of limited opposition, and still had trouble with them? You mean the one who was awarded the IBF belt against Suarez (who???) after it was vacated via Zab's loss to Baldomir?
You were all doing fine before...
Most feared? I say a feared fighter is a person who others won't fight--even when they have a belt!!! (i.e. Margarito & N. Donaire),
when you hit like a mule (i.e. Miranda & Pavlik)
or when the others know there is no way for them to look remotely good against the fighter (i.e. Nate Campbell, Tony Thompson & JC Gomez). Yes, I included Thompson in there because he has been avoided by every top 15 Heavy in the United States (regardless of original nationality), thereby having to fight Krasniqi and come back to the US to fight Cliff Couser... He's not ducking, the contenders/champs are ducking him. WK is only fighting him b/c he is a mandatory.
I think Cotto is becoming more feared as he gains more significant wins. Yep, he is definitely on the 'feared' list now.
Chris Arreola looks like a scary mother.
Tye Fields is very scary.............He will fall over one day and I sure would not want him landing on me.
Intimidation wise i can't think of anyone scarier than miranda. With that physiqe, nappy ass hair and being just plain ugly (even when he smiles) i would looks wise fear him the most. But i don't think any fighter is really scared of any other fighter except maybe spinks when he was walking down to fight tyson. Those old clips of hatton and cotto watching floyd whoop gatti back in the day were pretty funny though.
I say no one
The fight that really did it for me was the stoppage of Branko versus Cotto. That was one of the worst physical beatings I have ever scene. The body shots and the hooks then that shot he landed on the right shoulder of Branko that put him away. He hit him in the arm for heavens sakes. Then the Miranda Pavlik fight. Pavlik was like a armored tank with two powerful guns at the ends of his wrists. He walked right through Mirandas best shots. he hit him with three flush shots the put David Banks out of the ring. The man kept coming. Now what are you going to do with that.
Here's a qualifier to my previous statement:
"Anyone who says they aren't afraid of Wladimir is either a damn liar OR one dumb son of a bitch"
I would guess Sam Peter is either lying or just stupid motherfucker
Yeah those "jabs" are just meaningless and never hurt anyone....you might want to ask Lamon Brewster's opinion on that. You don't have to BRAWL to be a feared fighter...the guys has the exact same record as Mike Tyson and you're telling me no one fears him??? He's a lot different of a fighter but the same KO percentage the same amount of wins and he's got PLENTY of power and he uses it effectively UNLIKE Sam Peter who is just a big dumb brute in the ring....and I don't mean to insult Sam Peter's intelligence as a person but his intelligence in the ring and there is a big difference.
