I told all you doubters!! Juanma is the real deal!! He has it all, including the power. Many said that he fought nobody and that the 21 KO's were against nobody, but he proved everyone wrong!! What skills!! What composure in the ring!! What power in both hands! The kid is definitely mature for his age. That was a devastating performance aganist de Leon!
I told ya!! It was clear to see that it could happen. I didn't think that it would happen like that, but I knew he could be dominating. Maybe he's better than I thought!!

I think that PDL underestimated the Juanmas Power , that was his real mistake in that fight , but showed the real warrior that is , he to me still a real Champion ............:D

Can't say De Leon didnt try..... he had noodle legs just walked right into the short right hook. I didnt see the full wardance, that must have been his problem....no really Juanma is a nice boxer. He didnt really get tested too much, but showed some great skill.
I havent seen the fight yet I heard Williams is calling out Margarito and Cotto. He might just get it, Cotto knocks him out for sure, PR will gets it's Revenge.Quote:

First off Deleon is overrated, big deal he knocked out a bunch of no bodies. Eduardo Escobedo gave him all he can handle. Juanma is the real deal and it was a GREAT WIN!! His TRUE test comes when he faces Marquez or Vasquez. That will be one heck of a fight!!!!!!!!!!

I was impressed . Not just cuz of the result but he looked to me like a mature all round fighter with speed, timing , power skills patience etc . He will be a star .
first off by saying De Leon was overrated you know you're discrediting Juanma's victory to a certain point right? IMO it was a great win, cause it was against a VERy GOOD opponant and he did it in such devastating fashion, i thought De Leoon was gonna put too much pressure on him and break him down, but Lopez showed poise and patience and well impressed me a lot, i think he might be ready to be in the mix with Linares, Mijares, Montiel, Vazquez, and R. What is about Puerto Rican fighters these days and that kind of little hop step thing they do as far as footwork goes? Anybody notice the way JuanMa moves is a little like Cotto? Hard to explain but that kind of hop step they do is similar.

Lopez was outstanding. I thought he was going to get smashed. Instead he did the smashing. The way he did it was impressive. Very calm and composed. And I give credit to Macho and Rican. They called it from the beginning.
