Boy did Humberto Soto do a number on Lorenzo's face! Check this pic out!!!
Okay, I know the pics were going in the RBR thread, but this pic deserves it's own thread, because Soto deserves some recognition for the beat down he put on Lorenzo last night. Especially since he got a royal hose job by Cortez.
The good news for Soto is that, the WBC officials huddled, and decided not to give Lorenzo the belt. They ordered an immediate rematch.
Anyways, look how fuked up Lorenzo's face is, he has a bad cut over his right eye, and check out his nose!!!!

Yeah that was sheer destruction, I'm still pissed that noone got to stitch him while Cortez was trying to make up his mind.

I heard WBC is denying Lorenzo a title shot and orders immediate rematch with Soto.
I think a rematch is a MUST!

I don't think there should be a rematch. Soto completely beat his ass and was robbed of a sure stoppage win.. I guess he'll want the belt or interm belt but it's really just wasting his time to have him fight this guy again. Just make him the no.1 contender and give him a title fight before Lorenzo gets one I say.

if i was lorenzo.....i'd rather do a title defense (maybe mandatory)
but if the WBC is ordering it, i'd run and hide
but i dont think soto has to prove anything, i think he can live without the title for now

I'd be very surprised if he got back in with Soto{and very delighted as well}. Guy must have lost a pint of blood waiting around for Blow Cortez to figure out his job; but I'm somehow not feeling too sorry for him. He did an Oscar worthy performance last night:p Someone get a skateboard and jump off his nose;D

What cracks me up about Lorenzo's acting job, is that he sat there, pretending to be hurting from that grazing head shot, but then when he was announced the winner, he had no problem getting up quickly to celebrate. :dontknow:

I thought soto had a good case in the guzman title fight but this here was ridiculous. soto won that fight but didn't get another title he deserved.

Hell, Cortez would go down when they touch gloves to start the fight, and demand a disqualification, stating that it was an illegal "touch em up". ;)

Why should there be a rematch ?? everyone knows Soto is the better fighter and got robbed of the win, the rematch wouldn't tell us anything that we don't already know. Whats the point of it ?? so it goes on the record books as an official win ?? the important thing is that the fans know and thats all that counts.
