Ok now that Margarito has been knocked out, it's pretty safe to say he no longer can be said to have the best chin in boxing.
So who would you say has the strongest around?
I've put up some possible candidates, but if you feel it's someone else let me know.
Andrade, though Mosley's is not too bad either.
It's Toney. He has one of the greatest chins of all-time.
He's been fighting for 20 years and has fought opponents over a 100 pound range (middleweight all the way up to ~260 pound heavyweights), and has suffered one real knockdown his entire career, against Reggie Johnson.
Both the Jones knockdown and the Peter one were the result of being off balance.
Pacman has been kod before. and his eyes went crossed eyed.

TBH the knockouts all looked like bodyshots to me, the 1st catching him on the chest, the 2nd on his gut. I have to say seein some of the shots he caught in that vid actually gives me more admiration for his chinQuote:

Out and out it has to be Vitali. He takes the hardest punches of all the mentioned fighters and never looks hurt!
its got to be vitali, hes a heavyweight thats never even been knocked down!
He was lucky that when he went down in round 1 vs Sanders that it wasnt ruled a KD cuz some refs would have given him a count . He was also on very wobbly legs vs Lewis in round 6.Quote:

well he says he's not retired so Wayne McCullough still has the best chin.
From the ones listed it has to be Toney, followed by Vitali, then followed by Forbes.
Librado was put on the floor by Mack and even then I still consider him to be top 5 in the chins dept.

Kessler has never been down as an amateur or pro so I'd same it was him. Either Kessler or Vitali Klitschko for me.

Some of these fighters have been dropped and stopped, but when i think of durable fighters these guys instantly come to mind.
I'm not sure this so called king of the chins thing should really even change as much as it does...i mean there are guys that can take a punch then there are guys who can take a bunch of punches. Margarito can definatly take a punch so can andrade but there are also others that move thier head and choose not to take as many punches but let's not keep them off the list because they make sure they don't get hit. Anyhow i like to throw rocky juarez out there i've never really seen that guy seriously hurt for as much as he gets hit. I'd say anyone who fights darchiniyan and doesn't wind up in the E.R. has a pretty good chin too.
Jame Toney. Margarito still has a great chin. I can't see to many fighters taking as many clean shots as Margarito took without going down
And why the fukk is Duddy on the list? He has no business in any top chins lists
Had to go with Hopkins. Let's see where these others are at 44 and still beating top class fighters like Pavlik
I have no idea why they even had a 2nd fight. The first one was competitive but to me was pretty one-sided. Larios dominated the second. The last couple of rounds were especially brutal for McCullough. Larios hit him with every thing.Quote:

I agree with those saying that Margo should still be in there. Yes, he did get KTFO. But he took a TON of clean shots throughout the whole fight and was just smiling.
It is a close one between Librado Andrade and Vitaly Klitschko, both men can really take a shot. I think you have to go with Vitaly as he has been in with the bigger punchers I would suppose
