Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
there i said it...and i won't even give my reasons why. Simply because I'll wait for some one with logical reasons as to why i might be wrong instead of emotions....

Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
No doubt Hatton could rough up Manny and hurt him but I don't think he will get the opportunities to do that. The way Manny beat Oscar would work with Hatton but it will have to be at a much faster pace so you never know, Hatton could have some success should Manny tire but I can't see it.
That's my thoughts but anything can happen as we all know in this game.
-
Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
the old hatton will return..he will grab manny and rough him up...hook hold hook hold. and that weight will tell the difference. oscar didnt do anything but move around. Hatton is live. he will wear manny down and beat him. please beat him because i don't want to see PBF v PAC...so if he loses to hatton that fight goes out for a while...i want to pbf to fight shane. but he's given the opening to run to pac he (pbf) will.
-
Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
Agree with this thread.
Everyone is getting way to carried away with how Pac looked against Oscar. To be fair, he DID look like the second coming of Christ.
BUT - Oscar looked like he'd been on a 24hr bender in Tijuana and someone woke him up half an hour before the fight. Seriously, his legs were so shot he made Sonny Liston look like Mikhail Baryshnikov.
Pac will have his moments against Hatton, but Hatton will monster him and use his strength to put some hurt on Manny. Plus, unlike Oscar, he'll have energy and heart.
-
Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
I agree this is a great thread
IF kostya couldnt put hatton away no way can pacman put him away and pacman is no mayweather jr.
pacman is tiny and weak compared to hatton, hatton will toss him around easy
pacman is over confident and he pissed hatton off.
another good reason is mayweather sr is in hattons corner, senior is better then roach by a mile.

Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
Anything is possible. Hatton ca win but my money will be on Pacquiao base on their last 3 fights.
1. Hatton cant do the holding approach because pac is very quick on his feet.
2.Hatton doesnt have that 1 hit KO power andPac is a very good runner when hurt
3. Handspeed belong to Pacquiao. His combinations are beastly, He will land all throughout the fight.
Pac never had trouble with guys that go forward. He had problems with guys that purely wait and counter all night. I really cant see Hatton winning but yes anything can happen.

hatton has better stamina, and quicker feet and more power, and more head movement then anyone pacquiao ever face
hatton bobs and weaves in and out pacman will LOSE! watch boxing before you make a statement so biased.
Watch how strong and powerful hatton is, and go look at the pics of hatton and pacman standing side by side hatton was 1 inch taller, he had wider shoulders and bigger forearms then pacman.
people need to stop hyping up pacquiao he fights washed up mexican legends its like beating on the elderly.
in a few years people will forget his name he was just a famous guy now cause boxing doenst got mainstream exposure anymore.

you're still here? i thought they ban you for posting ludicrous threads. now youre back on somebody else's bandwagon coz they have their own opinions about pac. you are a joke by saying pac's name will be forgotten in a few years. the guy is already going to the boxing hall of fame. now go get your enema and do yourself and us a favor.

that's a bit much...pacman is HOF bound, and he's not as well known as he should be in the states. but across the world he is. and will despite the outcome of this fight be an ATG featherweight.
But i think he still loses this fight.....

Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
I think Hatton has it in him to beat Pac, but there are a lot of unknowns for me. It makes it an extremely exciting matchup and I cannot wait.
-
Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
The best Hatton can beat Manny Pacquiao.
This fight is decided by Hatton.
If he shows up with the resolve and vigour of the Hatton that beat Tszyu (and perhaps Castillo) I feel he will stop Manny.
However, if the lethargic Hatton that fought Collazo or the mentally fried Hatton that fought Mayweather showed up then Manny will handle him.

I think the best of anyone beats him, luckily for him & unluckily for the fighters he has faced recently the stars haven't lined up right for that one....yet.

I have a question. Right after this post was made...I noticed it had a 5 star rating. Did you vote for it yourself? If so...LOL.
If so, is it making you sad that it is now only 3 stars?
(I might vote it down a peg...just cuz I think you did vote it 5 stars. p.s. if I'm wrong about that...I don't care, because it was then likely Moono)

Are you kidding me? Have you saw how he floored Maussa and Castillo in 1 punch? Two equally awkward opponents in their own right and both certainly not weak opponents.
Secondly, no one runs from Hatton lol NO ONE. He is too good at closing the distance down.. the only concern I have is pac runs too much and hits hatton has he chases him down, kinda like Floyd did to Hatton...

Hatton doesnt really have 1 punch KO power against the elite. Maussa is pretty ordinary and Castillo was no 140 fighter and has proven that he was nowhere near his best since.
Hatton can pop no doubt, but he isnt a murderous puncher. Not at all.

Not to mention a liver punch will drop even the biggest/toughest fighters.

He's definitely not unbeatable and has had good fortune with the fighters his fought at the times he fought them.
I really think Ricky can do him, but Rickos did look like he'd been enjoying Christmas.

So you were 18? I always pegged you as a lot older than that, that's probably because you know how to string a sentance together. Unlike many other young posters! ;)
As for Hatton beating Pac, I think he will. I genuinely believe Pac's performance agaisnt ODLH was exagerated by how bad Oscar really was. Pac looking so unbeatable was more down to ODLH than it was Pac.
Ricky Hatton on the other hand is no weight drained shot fighter, he's the No.1 LWW and the strongest fighter Pac has fought to date.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to go for my 18th, it was a great night.
It was also the first time I saw Jennings box live (For non-Euro's) the guy who fights Cotto next.
Yeah, I'm 21, although having a daughter in the past year has enduced maturity. I genuinely feel the love a parent has for their child and as a result I think I've grown. So thanks Conrad mate:)
I just completly agree with what you've said.
If I'm proven wrong by all means I'll hold up my hands and give Pac his credit, but I think Ricky takes this one and he too should get his due.

Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
TBH i see this fight as 50/50
I think Hatton could win cause hes in his own weight class where he has more an advantage.
And Pac could win to by been quick on his feet and if he happens to cut Hatton it could be stopped.
kinda hard to choose but i rather have Hatton win this one.
-
Re: Put this on saddo record..Hatton beats PACMAN...
I agree with this. I don't think Manny's ever faced such a naturally strong guy with great footspeed like Hatton. I'm extremely intrigued by this fight because Hatton always gets his way and he always gets you on the ropes.
Even against Floyd, Hatton got his way. Floyd had to beat Hatton at Hatton's own fight by muscling him and getting rough on the inside and on the ropes. Floyd STILL had to fight Hatton's type of fight. I can't see Manny outmuscling Hatton. Manny definitely isn't as big as Floyd and he doesn't have the type of defense Floyd has.
Plus, Manny needs space to operate and land his good punches. He's not gonna have it with Hatton. Unless you're much bigger than Hatton, he will find a way to make you fight his type of fight. Which is mauling, in close, brawling type of fight. He looked so good against ODLH because he was able to use his handspeed and most important footspeed to setup alot of his punches and move around and sidestep ODLH all night. I think Manny has a decent shot at winning due to him being a southpaw and having very fast hands but Manny's gonna realize that Hatton's footspeed and handspeed ain't too shabby. Hatton WILL get his way on the ropes. Quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Manny got stopped to the body while he's out of position or on the ropes sometime in the middle rounds. Otherwise, I'm with you, I think it's gonna be a win for Hatton.

To be fair, when you made that statement you pretty much demolished any form of structure and spelled the word 'sentence' wrong.
Here it is. Let's have a look...
" So you were 18? I always pegged you as a lot older than that, (<---this requires a full stop) that's probably because you know how to string a sentance (<..spelled wrong) together. (<---requires a comma linking now fragmented sentences--->) Unlike many other young posters! ;)"
Anyway...I look forward to this fight. I am not a Hatton fan and don't really know enough or have seen him enough to root for him. Pac has earned my respect for his accomplishments and I wish him to succeed in spite of not liking some of his fans.
I don't have a great knowledge on fighters, but carry a fresh 'young' perspective. My boxing history on professional boxing goes back about 10 months and anything I say is based on what I have seen in that time. So I haven't really seen Hatton yet.
I hope it is a great fight and a better match then Oscar/Pac in regard to being competitive.

what are you talking about Hatton showed up big time against mayweather jr! mayweather was just a better fighter that night.
also hatton showed up against collazo its just collazo is a hard fighter, very tough vet with a soutpaw style and was bigger then hatton.
Hattons only lousy performance was against lazcano and he was sick.

I can't help but laugh everytime I read people treat manny as if like a small kid fighting like say, a high school boy. Ricky is so big, so strong for his size blah blah and blah.
Manny has been mixing it up with bigger and stronger boxers eversince, why do you think Roach will let him fight with ODLH, do you think he will just win with speed and endurance alone? Of course he must also stand up to ODLH punches, remember he has a killer left and he was once a Middleweight for God's sake. Roach knows Manny very well and knows his capabilities. He knows he can stand on his ground with BIGGER MEN and mix up with them. Why did you think Roach got 2 LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT AND 1 WELTERWEIGHT for sparring in partners in preparation for the Dream Match if he thinks he's so SMALL?
So please stop with those BS coz it ain,t gonna matter for Pacman if he is
a bull in LIGHT WELTERWEIGHT.

hatton hold his opponent if he's tired and sometimes he hugs like what he did to mayweather, and mayweather knock him down.
