Who has more claim over the pac - hatton winner?

So it seems like both Cotto and Mosely now want to fight the winner of this fight, among a few others.. but i'll focus on these two for this post. Who should be given the first chance to fight the winner?

I think it's a tough call, Cotto has the win over Mosely but Mosely has the win over the only man to beat him (however controversial it was).

Thoughts?

I suppose they could always fight again to determine who will fight the Hatton-Pac winner. But I'm guessing they'd want to get it signed for the next fight on their schedule so who knows.

I think those guys need to fight to determine who gets the winner. They would also have to accept that the fight would probably be at a catchweight of about 143-145 at least

Wlad Klitschko.

Cotto couldn't get down to 140, I don't think Hatton or PAC would be powerful enough to keep Cotto honest at 147. I don't know if Mosley could get down to 140 anymore either. I think the winner of Hatton/PAC will have earned a lesser fight maybe Bradley or Judah.

I think that would be the logical choice but Mosely has made it clear he wants to fight the Hatton-Pac winner before he fights Cotto again. I think either one of them would have problems with moving down to 140, should Hatton win (as he most likely wouldn't want to fight there). If Pac wins I guess it will be a little more simple since as far as I can tell Pac made the weight with relitive perfection.

mosley wants to fight the winner of pac hatton before he fights cotto again coz he nos hell lose to cotto again.

All depends on the winner i think Pac/cotto if Pac wins will be in the near future if Hatton wins i see him fighting arquez if he beats Diaz.

As bad it sounds, the simple fact is that the Pacquiao/Hatton winner is the one holding all the cards. He will be able to say to Cotto/Mosley/Marquez/Diaz that if they want to fight then they're going to have to come down to whatever weight that they're going to set & they will be in the driving seat in terms of finances. The reason Mosley wants this fight first is because he knows which one is worth more money to him, & the way Jin Mosley is going on, he may need it

Cotto probably has to fight in June most likely against Clottey or another tune-up... Mosley is silent so far and he's just waiting for the winner of PAC-Hatton...

Cotto already mentioned PAC's name and Team PAC also mentioned Cotto so I think there's no problem with a future PAC-Cotto fight...

Maybe for Pacquiao, but I'm increasingly getting the impression that he just doesn't want to fight. If he comes out he will be top of EVERYONE'S list because it will make money, but as long as he's retired, the top man remains the Pacquiao/Hatton winner

PBF will jump the queue if he decides to come back - I am not as certain as I was that he will actually return mind


There will be debate as to if he should be allowed to or not but let's face it it's his if he wants it.

if pac still doesnt lose by the end of this year then i can see floyd coming back but not this year,

For enjoyment purposes id like to see any of the fights take place but I think Cotto-Hatton would make for the most competitive bout in my book. I think Moseley definitely beats both Hatton and Pacquiao if he shows in the shape he did in the Margarito fight.

Sorry realised I didnt answer the question! I believe its more a case of Pacquiao or Hatton having the claim. Pacquiao being the pound for pound fighter or Hatton if he beats the best pound for pound fighter. And I think both would want to and rather fight Cotto. So I guess my answer is Cotto.

Mosley deserves this over Cotto because their fight was debatale but Mosley thrashed Tony .

Hatton and Pac would be crazy taking on Cotto or Moseley at Welter they would get beat. Better to stay at 140lb and take on Marquez and others.

Tough one. All three deserve the shot, but considering Marquez's brutal win tonight over Diaz and the fact his first two fights with Pacman were so controversial, I think JMM should get the shot. This is of course assuming Pacman beats Hatton (which isn't too much of an assumption for me).

I don't see the point in Hatton messing with 147 again. He doesn't have any issues making 140, and he's stepped up to 147 and had trouble both times. I would prefer him to stick at 140 TBH.
