The press conference was held today for the latest installment of the Prizefighter Series.
The Line up is
Terry Dunstan
Darren Corbett
Mark Krence
Dean Francis
John 'Buster' Keaton
Neil Simpson
Bruce Scott
Micky Steeds
19th May Earls Court - London
You can join Terry's Prizefighter group on Facebook, other than that discuss, argue but most of all enjoy xx
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
Blimey, it's a veterans comp. ;D
Good lineup. Looks like a lottery job though.
Scrap, you with Dunstan in this?
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
Some good names in there, albeit a bit past it lol - could be interesting
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
How will the format suit him, scrap?
Looks a bit tricky predicting what the old boys will do, but with some big punchers, rusty, surely there'll be a few KO's this time. Not sure the three rounds will suit one arm Francis, moving up, but reckon he'll be put in as fav.
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
All I can say is I wish He had wanted it as much Ten years ago. He runs a mile in under Five minutes, 4.49 ;D

That's impressive stuff. I am running 3 miles in 24 mins at the moment and that kills me (I am 16 stone though ;D)
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
The thing about Terry, is He never reached His Full potential. !6 Amatuer won Half. 22 lost 2 at the end when a Nightclub was the attractive optian. He is as Fresh as a daisy. Out Helping Marty Rogan Prepare this Friday, I dont think weve seen the Best yet ;D
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights

I might be able to run away from scrap.. certainly not Dunstan though ;D
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
That looks a decent line-up.
Though Bruce Scott I thought had retired years ago.
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
I shall be there to see this .
I predict the most explosvie prizefighter yet .
I predict a Dean Francis win , he is the most fresh and most active .
Re: Prizefighter - Cruiserweights
Always god to watch Cruiserweights.
Terry Dunston has a pretty good style, not the most predictable of fighters, really good on his feet.

I can vouch for that...watched him running on the treadmill at my gym..he's an animal on there lol.
You're right Scrap, he does want it badly..the one time I saw him lost for words was when Larry asked him something about his world title fight - You could tell it burns him up and he will do anything and everything for another crack.
I wish him all the very best..He was the only man who helped me out when I turned up at Repton and i'm grateful to him for it. (despite all the barbs he throws my way when he sees me!) ;D
Talent-wise he takes it by a country mile, it just all depends on who turns it up on the night

That's a good time Big H! I'm 11 stone and doing 3 miles in 22 so your fitness pound for pound is probably better than mine.
Running is not my forte lol but interval training gets me results so gotta love the pain!
