Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
The vid will be posted after it's shown. They just showed excerpts of Kenny getting under Floyd's skin and Floyd firing back insults. Sportscenter just came on and the interview will be shown in a little bit.

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
I think it was before the Gatti fight where they had a real entertaining interview or maybe it was the Judah fight. Yeah it was then when Mayweather was talking about how Baldomir's win over Judah meant nothing because split decisions don't count. What's funny is that Judah's loss wasn't a split decision and then Floyd split decisioned De La Hoya.

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
2 things about that interview. Kenny is wrong. Mayweather did not get full credit for the De La Hoya and Hatton wins.
And Mayweather brings up a great point. Why is he to big for Marquez, but not Pacquiao?
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Looks like Mayweather's been reading this board lol.

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Haa that was long but great.Im betting it was more intense than his match with Marquez will be though....and the clapping:lolhaha:
Hes right about Oscar,he was a gaunt zombie at that weight....and may have a point about Hatton not being top flight after his fight.Someone hand him a kleenex on the rest though.

Because Mayweather is too big for Pacquiao too...the difference is that Pacquiao will beat Mayweather even if he is the smaller man....

:lolhaha: Great Interview "Kenny" if you read this!
Credit? UD vs SD vs TKO vs KO. How do you score?

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Mayweather is an asshole. God I really hope Marquez knocks his ass out that way Mayweather doesn't have to fight Pacquiao.
Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight. PUKE!

Then Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Mosley, and Clottey are too big for PBF. Their size differences are more than the one between PBF and JMM. You can't call it foul one way and ignore it the other way. People don't want to see PBF chop down JMM, the guy who gave Pac hell, so they already throw out excuses even before the fight. JMM is the real deal and he may have something to say about this come July 18th.

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
pacquaio beat the two guys you beat in quicker fashion.. what does that say?
"hatton beat castillo quicker, and what happened with him?"
HAHA
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
I thought Kenny did a pretty good job, as did Floyd. Very interesting interview.
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
That showed how insecured floyd is when pacquiao is mentioned :newpoints:
This is why his fighting jmm, so he can say he beat the guy that gave pac the toughest fight. why dont you just fight pacquiao?
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Im not going to even bother watching it. PBF may be a dick but he can back it up. Remember he fought dela hoya at 154 and not 147. Its just stupid to say hes too big for marquez and then say its alright for pacman coz pacman will beat him. HAHA what kind of logic is that, who ever said this on this thread needs to really look at their logic. You watch, if pac and mayweather fight all these people that say that shit will say "oh he was too big though". But no one is saying that bout hatton and dela hoya now. Mayweather wasnt always a welterweight either, hes moved up as well. You all wanted mayweather to fight margarito and hes a big man for that weight but no one cried "hes too big". Instead when he didnt fight him you all had a cry about it. Double edged sword isnt it.

margarito is a big man at welterweight? but margarito wasn't successful at 154, floyd was. Just cause guys at welterweight look more dominant then floyd they are bigger? They are so called "natural big welterweights" and floyd is a what? a lightweight? that fought at lightmiddleweight?
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Floyd had one fight at 154 and of course Margarito is a big welterweight, he's a huge welterweight and Snakey is completely on point. If you could put your Pac favoritism or Mayweather dislike aside then that would be pretty easy to see. Unless you want to now argue that Mayweather is bigger then Margarito.

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Mayweather defended himself beautifully! I think he made completely valid points regarding all of Kenny's comments. I think the clapping got a bit annoying but he spoke the right words.
I gotta give it to Floyd, he knows how to make noise! He is already starting hype for a fight that isn't even close to being signed.
Brian Kenny is a professional! He kept his cool the whole time, respected Floyd, yet disagreed with him and gave his honest opinion.
That was quite a interview. Imagine Floyd getting into a verbal scuffle with Marquez and Pacquiao?! I would feel bad cause I don't think Juan and Manny's brain can translate english fast enough to know what Floyd is actually telling them. But for the most part, all the media and interviews with Floyd have him showing nothing but respect for Marquez. Now with a 24/7 on the way, I'm starting to get really excited for this fight!
Damn, I started to rant a little bit...

Mate.... i do not even get what your going on about. The fact remains that margarito is a BIG WELTERWEIGHT!! Did i say he did well at 154? No i said he was big. Floyd isnt huge either...hes bigger but not massive for the weight so whats your point?

Because Marquez is an unknown quantity above 135. He has never fought a guy above lightweight.
Pac has demolished a former 154 champ and a former 147 champ in his last two fights.

This is true, but at the same time, we have to ask ourselves, why is Pac's camp insisting that they will only fight Mayweather or Mosley or Cotto at catchweight's if he was indeed so successful against those two bigger fighters?
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
He does sound just like somebody on saddo ;D If you look closely you'll see Majesty in the background with a shit load of cue cards.
The funny part is Mayweather almost seemed mad at the end when its obvious he wanted that kind of argument.
Floyd's not very charismatic and he's completely humorless but he's smart in the sense that people will remember that interview, whether they think he acted like a dick or not.

Just playing the game. Pac is the big fish at the moment and calling the shots. Obviously it's to his advantage to make those guys drop weight. A few pounds either way will quickly be wavered once the money is right ;)

I VERY much disagree with this..
Floyd has NEVER EVER been up front about who he "wants" to fight or anything like that.. he knows how to sell a fight.. and you're buying right into it..
If he SAYS he wants Pacquiao after JMM then people would be expecting it.. As soon as the PBF/JMM fight ends, if floyd is the winner, we'd all be like GREAT he fights pac now..
but if it's left up in the air, then the day the PBF/Pac fight gets signed everyone would go BANANAS!!
Floyd did NOT say that he wouldn't fight Pac, he said "if he wants it he's got it"..
how did you come to the conclusion that he didn't want to fight Pacquaio?
watch the vid again maybe?
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
PBF - "Answer the question"
Kenny - "I don' t think you asked me a question"
PBF - "I did ask you a question. Bob Arum gonna do what he gonna do you have to ask him"
Kenny - <<blinks>> internal monologue: (the only reason I am smiling through this interview is because I got laid this morning. Floyd is such a dick! Also, he speaks broken ebonics... Maybe we should update him on verb tenses before the next interview)

Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
it was awesome for Floyd on a worldwide stage like espn sportcenter to step up and intelligently defend himself against the double standard that seems to be applied to him...
He set the record straight plain and simple

I wouldn't go that far ;D
Floyd answered some question well but he also flapped and sounded like a wally at times.
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
I think Floyd's great. Sure he's an arrogant prick but he backs it up every time.
It's inevitable that he will fight Manny - he can't not but I think that its only fair he has a tune up fight first and fighting the p4p no 2 before the p4p no 1 is a hell of a tune up.
Good old Floyd, he's got me excited about this fight again and I a may go and see him tomorrow!
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
" I dont' care if they come to see me loose or see me win as long as they show up." Everything this guy does he does for $$$$$. Kenny can get under his skin but floyd is getting into all of thier and our pockets. They hate him and guys like T.O. yet they report and make a big deal out of everything they say and do and for who ?? It's not like he has a ton of fans or does he ??....hillarious. These guys are like children they do things for a reaction, and they're having no problem getting em.
-
Re: Mayweather and Brian Kenny About to Rip Into Each Other on Sportscenter
Floyd loves doing these things, why do you think he only gets interviewed by Brian Kenny?
its attention, publicity pure and simple. They use each other. Anybody that thinks these two hate each other or that Floyd is being picked on is out to lunch.
