And Mayweather brings up a great point. Why is he to big for Marquez, but not Pacquiao?
Because Marquez is an unknown quantity above 135. He has never fought a guy above lightweight.

Pac has demolished a former 154 champ and a former 147 champ in his last two fights.
This is true, but at the same time, we have to ask ourselves, why is Pac's camp insisting that they will only fight Mayweather or Mosley or Cotto at catchweight's if he was indeed so successful against those two bigger fighters?

He does sound just like somebody on saddo If you look closely you'll see Majesty in the background with a shit load of cue cards.

The funny part is Mayweather almost seemed mad at the end when its obvious he wanted that kind of argument.

Floyd's not very charismatic and he's completely humorless but he's smart in the sense that people will remember that interview, whether they think he acted like a dick or not.

Just playing the game. Pac is the big fish at the moment and calling the shots. Obviously it's to his advantage to make those guys drop weight. A few pounds either way will quickly be wavered once the money is right

LOL, are you kidding me, Kenny knew Pacquaio had lost before, he was just pointing out that a few of the losses had taken place like ten years ago when he was fighting at like 112
I know, huh? But when Floyd ask him first he answered "NO!" until Floyd reminded him that Pac lost by KO and a clear loss to Erik Morales 1. That's when Kenny agreed on the losses.

Kenny openly stated he thought, like most people, Marquez beat Manny last year
Yes, many boxing experts and commentators, other boxers, etc. Also believe that Marquez deserved to win BOTH fights.
Floyd talking about Kenny's job and what not was unnecesary. Still, Kenny would answer and keep his cool.

I think he's the most talented guy at ESPN, he does a good job on Sportscenter as compared to some of the other losers they have.

in Floyd's defense Kenny in a way brought it upon himself with stupid remarks such as "at least i have a job", IMO both were way unprofessional in this interview, Floyd's excuse not the face Mosley was pathetic, but he did have a point in how hypocritical some analysts and writer's can be, agreed with him 100% when he said the Hatton/Castillo bit, and Kenny's response was really weak, he say's Manny's win over DLH was superb, but then Hatton's win was against an over the hill fighter, IMO both wins were weak

Floyd, Mosley, and Cotto have found a home at 147. Oscar was a 154 pound fighter but Pac had fought no higher than 135. The 147 catchweight for them was so it would even the playing ground. No one knew Oscar would lose more weight than he had to and have trouble rehydrating. Pacquiao fighting at 147 was just so the freak show could be executed not because he was comfortable at that weight. Hatton was a step down from the Oscar fight but was still considered the bigger man cause he was still a superfeatherweight about a year ago.

I think Manny fighting at catch weights against Mayweather, Mosely, and Cotto are a product of 1) Manny being the big dog now and 2) Because 147 is not natural for Manny. Oscar MADE him look great at 147 but that is in now way a weight class he should be fighting at. I don't know, but if you're the one people want to fight, they should come to you, not the other way around.

I thought that was MAD DICK! Everyone knows Floyd is a cash king but to degrade someone's earning power just because he isn't a million dollar fighter is a low blow IMO. I think it's already a given Floyd earns more than most, no need to point it out. Although Kenny's paycheck probably makes mine look like a tax refund.

I think Pac and JMM are both too small for Floyd to fight but f#ck it. Big $$$ fights and good for the sport. I only wish Mayweather/Williams would have happened before Floyd retired and PW moved up; Paul was the only real threat I ever saw for Floyd. I can't stand Floyd and can only hope to see him lose but it won't happen; he'll beat Pac and JMM with little trouble.
I'm glad I wasn't the only person who got annoyed by Floyd clapping along with each word he said. He was saying the right things to defend himself; the clapping was just a bit much.

I swear, Floyd read this site right before going on with the interview cause he reiterated so many points that people make for him on this forum.
