That's obscene. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the heat?
Since I've never been to Arizona I won't go into the whole its a dry heat thing but here in the south its fucking humid as hell. I hate it. I'm debating never going outside again.
Pretty hot here in Louisiana. I'm staying up just so its cool enough to fall asleep
Thats brutal.I dont feel so bad now...we have 87 at the moment.
During the day this week its up by 10 and you feel like you are wrapped in a big wet blanket.
its 102 now. i hate the heat cause its to damn hot for me too smoke outside so i wait til nighttime when its a little less hot.
I'm in Tampa Florida its hot as hell down here especially with the Humidity. I actually just got back from Key West for a couple days mini vacation and let me tell you god was it hot and humid down there almost unbearable. Still had a good time but needed to drink allot of water especially with all the beer I was drinking.
Fort Polk, Louisiana is home to the Joint Readiness Training Center. Before units deploy they come here and spend 30 days training. This last rotation I was an attachment. I played the role of an Iraqi Captain and the training units leadership had to attempt to work with me and my company. Anyway the soldiers were from Fort Lewis, Washington. I have never seen so many heat casualties in my life. Averaged over 5 a day. Out of my 90 soldiers who worked 15+ hr days over the same period we didn't have a single one. High 90's temp wise but 100% humidity and no wind make it pretty tough. Not to mention all the gear we wear.
Uh, Dothan's worse than I am, in the south of Alabama, nasty.
I hate summers. I used to live permanently in Alabama and still have bad memories of football practice. Two a day practices (and my position coach just happened to be the resident psycho) in the dead of summer with ungodly humidity and all that equipment and worst off the freaking helmet. Finally being able to take off the helmet was like being let out of prison. I have no doubt that boot camp is harder but at least you don't have to wear a helmet. I guess it was worth it.
I hate summers. Just thought I'd reiterate that.
I hate that sweat you get right after taking a shower.
The house where I'm at just got the AC fixed after three (horrible) days and I've got it down to 62. I know I can't keep it there but I'm going to enjoy the next few hours.
I'm in Liverpool, England and today we have had thunder, lightening and a whole lot of rain :)
It's 92 with 21 percent humidity (I lived in Kentucky so I knew bad humidity) and it's by far the worst day of summer for me so far. I have been sweating since 4 AM and keep having to put the fan in front of my face.
It's f#cking hot here in Texas; about 103-4 today. And when it's humid it's the pits....I feel like I'm melting with high humidity. I hate it and stay inside all day and keep the air-con on at 65;D
I had to put a little window unit in my shed where my weights are; and I still only got it down to 108 because it's not insulated:bawling: I might have to stop lifting till late September or so as it's taking its toll on me, or get another window unit:p Cold is always better; you can only take so much clothing off in heat.
Humidity...that the killer.Better keep em snug because ...things stick :-X.
Our heat wave is over in England.
I thought I got it bad in terms of the summer heat, but some of you have me beat hands down. Today, it has been quite cool here at about 28'C/82'F. Tom it's back up to 30'C/86'F.
We are having the rainy season right now so it's tolerable. It gets really hot from the end of July through till September though. It will really suck.
