Lyle rates anyone Wlad fights. Chambers will have been a tough test for any fighter in history, especially if Wlad is impressive against him
I like Chambers but I just don't think he has enough pop or slickness to really keep Wlad off of him. Wlad TKO in 8
I haven't seen Eddie since his laydown loss to Povetkin. Unless he's completely retooled and turned that fat into muscle he loses by awful, awful KO.
He was better in his last fight. I'm pretty sure it can be found on the net somewhere.Quote:

Eddie has 2 main problems:
1 - his punches aren't very powerful
2 - and I think the biggest problem is, he spends time waiting when he could be firing off more punches.
I think if he could turn up the rate of punches thrown, one could almost overlook that the punches may not be that powerful. At least then he could try to keep Wlad busy so that Wlad isn't the one doing all the punching. I really hope his trainers have managed to stress that he needs to punch more.

Eddie Chambers is a very interesting fighter, he's prepared himself very well to fight Wladimir, he's fought someone with a quasi-similar frame and style (Dimitrenko) and he's fought someone with good KO power (Sam Peter) and he's also fought probably the best heavyweight not to have a belt at the moment (Povetkin) although he lost that fight.
Now it's time to play GOOD NEWS - BAD NEWS
GOOD NEWS: Eddie has very quick hands -BAD NEWS: in single counter punch shots
GOOD NEWS: Eddie is very talented defensively - BAD NEWS: his offense is nowhere to be found
GOOD NEWS: Eddie has never been down (that I know of) or knocked out - BAD NEWS: He's going to get to do both on the same night
Eddie is a solid fighter but he belongs AT LEAST at cruiserweight if not at 175...at heavyweight Eddie is short and makes up for it by being fat. Eddie's reach is 75"....Wlad's is 81" and Wlad doesn't let guys on the inside and well hell even if he did Eddie doesn't move quick enough to get there and do damage.
Same size and even had Wlad's former trainer Sdunek but he's SOFT...he let Eddie boss him around that fight. Wlad is a whole nother ball game.Quote:

Wlad's got one of the highest KO percentages in all of boxing and he gets called boring. I just don't get it. You display power, defense and ring smarts and dominate EVERYONE who comes your way and it isn't exciting? Klitschko always shows up ready, has never been out of shape and even dropped weight to be faster for an opponent and there is no credit. I think half the reason I came around to Wlad was because so many ppl hate him. He either beats guys up or puts them in a shell until the fight is over. The other guy has a responsibility to fight too and so far his opponents haven't been up to task. .....ok outside of the Sam Peter fight when has Wlad held too much? In the Sam Peter fight Wlad was still getting used to a new style of boxing due to his new trainer Manny Steward and he was lacking confidence at the time as well....that fight came probably when Wlad's confidence was near the lowest of his career: Loss to Sanders, loss to Brewster, uninspired TD vs Williamson where he was badly cut and knocked down....and he comes out gets knocked down 3 times (with questionable punches) but gets up each time and DOMINATES Sam Peter.Quote:

Every guy who beat Wlad MOVED. Chambers is very stationary, relying on his handspeed to make things happen. He's going to get punched in the belly until he can't take it anymore.
I do feel for the Klitch's a bit, they have between them beaten all oncomers over the years, yet because the people around them seem to have no game plan other than to stand and get one-two'd it makes them look bad.
You can't stay at the top for that long without being very, very good.
It's just a shame that anyone who I have seen in the build up and thought to myself "this guy can bang!, he's going to rock the big guy" has turned up and just picked up the script of every other Klitch victim.
Stand there, cower, get pummulled, be chuffed to try and survive 12 rounds.
Can't remember that last guy to come and have a real go or show any sign they have the confidence to win from the start.

I think the last one was Sam Peter against Wlad. The last for Vitali was Lennox. Both those fights were YEARS ago.
Chambers is getting destroyed, Wlad will toy with him for 6/7 rounds then take him out
